Saban's Plans for Gokaiger?

i thought this deserved it's own thread:


I actually asked about this, back when Gokai had just been provisionally announced. The writer I spoke to theorized Gokaiger was going to be like Decade and thus incorporate sliding to different worlds. That would affirm Jonathan's stance on Power Rangers circa 2002, the aforementioned "no season is in continuity to any other season, but most seasons have analogous events to the preceding season in their continuity." The Disney seasons are just EVEN LESS in-continuity than normal.

Oh I know, no doubt. I'm not one of the "This is unadaptable" pushers.

Saban can do this, I figure it'll go smoother if they cut out Dairanger, Jetman and back.

But man at the same time...if I freakin saw Jetman, or Flashman, any of the ones PR don't have here in America, I would cry tears of joy just to see them.

Exactly, Saban isn't likely to suddenly decide it doesn't want to make money.

And if anything, if you go to this thread here, "rangerspider" was even questioning whatever that really came from JT at all. Turns out that it was a "fan" named Chris Funaro (who is on RangerCrew) saying those things, & not JT himself.

Calling Funaro a "fan" is kind of an understatement. Love him or hate him he's kind of in bed with the production crew(s) and has been since the MMPR prod days.

If he says "jump" the fandom asks "How high?" and he's never been one to abuse that power.

You are really using a "fandom" as a positive? Either way, unless it comes directly from Saban's people it's just fan speculation.
