I'm viewing this as a producer or show runner would, not as a fan first off.

On Nick, they allow Korra to have violence and it delves into dark themes. However, there's barely anything regarding sexuality and it is TV-PG. Power Rangers has a reputation of being controversial with its violence , so therefore, why tempt fate by having it in or risk a controversy with the toys having that nonsense?

It just takes one thing to make people get angry, and the ratings could go down as a result. Why jump the shark if you do not need to?

Not sure why I need to "grow up" when you offer no proof that it's only two boards and its a lower reception. io9 caught the toy and will keep it on whenever people search for Power Rangers. They can just change the tags for the article and with accompanying videos that'll likely go viral....

It's just not worth the risk.

you realize the sentai version can be edited right? the toqger adaptation could have alot of things edited out from the japanese counterpart to fit with american children's television.

Bandai's going to have to redesign the toy so it doesn't have the blunder that the Japanese version has, that's for sure. The show can be edited, but the toy's gonna need some work so it either snaps into its place, or it goes all the way down into train form.

That won't be a problem. Bandai stopped using the Japanese molds for their Megazord toy releases for some time now. I am sure they will make a version that snaps into place.

...But I am still hoping they hilariously forget to make that change to the mold. The show is one thing, but this seems like such a miniscule detail that there could easily be a lack of communication or something that unintentionally keeps that feature intact. And since kids wouldn't see the phallic imagery in the show, they might not connect the dots right away. :laugh:

Just point the kids to the Kotaku article. Their sense of innocence will die as they realize it was a thing, and they cut it out. Girl the world over will go into puberty while they find themselves aroused by the phallic symbols. They will then kill their mothers and marry their fathers and fulfill the Oedipus Complex and it will rain chaos onto the world. Boys will marry their mothers after killing their fathers, dogs will give birth to 3DS's and unicorns will appear the world over to fart out gadgets and toys for all those who believe in Optimus Prime and his salvation.
