Saban going to skip GoBusters!!!!

Some people want JDF back when I don't want him back unless he comes back as Dino Black if they adapt Kyoryuger vs Go-Busters. He's already in Super Megaforce and it would be too soon to have him come back for another show. Having him return to Power Rangers should be once in a decade or several years thing.

Well, I don't think they are going to adapt Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters, because technically Go-Busters is being skipped next year, and for the people who want JDF to come back to promote the newer Power Rangers after Super Megaforce....sorry to disappoint them, but he ain't coming back. It's gonna be a fresh new start, which means, NO Re-using old cast members!!! We need new heroes, new villains, new stories, and no mentioning any events from Super Megaforce, period. Unless, they if Bandai wants promote the Kyoryuger Ranger Keys in Dino Charge as US exclusives.

Why not mention this upcoming season or previous?

It's about time continuity is kept so it can diverge from Sentai, because frankly, why would you want the same Sentai with an American cast? Hope I don't see you whine about the next season being too much like the Sentai.

Especially after an anniversary, they might as well bring them back once in a while by tying the entire series together in an united story , even if it doesn't share all the same characters entirely.

The problem with the Neo Saban era is it virtually has no inch of continuity in any manner to the original series and what it has now....the only reason I'd even watch the show is if they brought back cast members and staff?

Why? I'm not going to waste time with a series that is cast, written, acted and utilized in a manner that is not only inferior to its competition, but ranks far below them. The only thing this series has is the nostalgic factor, and it isn't utilizing it at all when it needs to. For a series that runs longer than Avatar, if the toy line were to die, Power Rangers will follow because there is not much to really bring it in by comparison.

They could use the Go-Busters if they do adapt Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters for a TV movie. They could explain that the Go-Busters are a top secret Power Rangers group that works under cover. KVGB has the past two Dinosaur team and would be a huge opportunity not to do a crossover with the past two dinosaur PR teams.

I can see the MMPR cast returning for a voice over since I doubt they would want to travel so far if they won't get pay much. I'm not sure about the Dino Thunder cast other then JDF. JDF will likely return as Dino Black for free like he did with Super Megaforce.

Dragonranger and AbareBlack aren't even in the movie. XD

Judging by the press release of this announcement, it looks like it was BANDAI that is the main culprit in convincing both Toei and Saban to skip a Go-Busters adaptation and move forward with a Kyroyuger adaptation.

We all know how Bandai felt about Go-Busters considering their snide comments about the show being "too-dark" for the kiddies (when the show really wasn't), and those snide comments were supported by the low toy sales for the Go-Busters line.

So this isn't Saban breaking the contract agreement with Toei, this was BANDAI telling Toei and Saban that it would be a shitty investment to adapt Go-Busters before Kyroryuger.

Yes, BANDAI hates Go-Busters that much

Coincidentally, this announcement within hours before Kyroyuger's final episode hehe

Which is pretty hypocritical considering it's THEIR shitty toyline in the first place! The Go-Busters toys weren't particularly fun (those ugly combinations!) and they had no collectible gimmick! Why would that be blamed on the show itself? Clearly they're butthurt, as you keep saying, over their OWN failiure.

There are already 10 suits from Kyoryuger, and they will be adding more suits into the series? Seems like overkill.

I think Goty meant the MONSTERS suit.

*sits here alone, enjoying his Morphin' Brace and Morphin' Blaster* :'c

I really can't blame Saban for this decision, in all honestly.

You do realize, Toei/Bandai still have control of whether to give Saban ANY Sentai footage or not. If Toei/Bandai are still upset over the utter disappointment of Go-Busters from both a tv and toy sales standpoint, of course they wouldn't think about giving Saban any footage of the Go-Busters show EVEN if Saban asked for it.

If anything, it shows how much Toei and Bandai are still a bunch of butthurt bitches over the fact that Japanese children couldn't find anything appealing about Go-Busters AND they don't want to waste another single ounce of money to continue investing in any Go-Busters project........EVEN as a US adaptation.

So basically this wasn't Saban's decision at all, this was Bandai's decision with Toei backing them up to not giving the Western audience a Go-Busters adaptation of Power Rangers

You can continue to scream and shout at Saban all you want........but Bandai & Toei are the real culprits behind this decision.

So where are you getting this information? :)

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Morphin' Brace, but the toyline didn't do a good job of making me want MORE. I got a handful of Jyudenchi for my Giga Gaburevolver and I had to stop myself from ordering more.

And the Custom Visor was a pretty shitty upgrade.
