S.H.Figuarts - News and Reviews

I don't know if I would ever want a Fourze renewal. I don't know about the face, but it's easily one of the best figures in the line when it comes to posing and such.

I love my Wizards, but he could definitely use it. Dunno about W though, those have always seemed pretty great (I have two double packs and Cyclone Joker).

I'd love more Hibiki down the road, on the other hand. Planning on getting him for Christmas if I can still find one.

How did the new Agitos turn out by the way? And the Blade guys? I didn't get a chance to get any of them.

W getting a renewal is likely, probably on the tail end of next year (knowing Bandai, they'll release it right before they do Kiva). OOO though does seem tricky. On the one hand, it is a fine Figuarts, expertly crafted and detailed to match the show. On the other, it's the body sculpt of his that needs to be redone. His limbs in particular have very little shape to them. I think that they'll probably update his sculpt right around the time that they FINALLY do a Figuarts version of his bike (we did only get the vending machine version of it after all).

How did the new Agitos turn out by the way? And the Blade guys? I didn't get a chance to get any of them.

Blade is fantastic, just beautiful to look at. The sticker bit is annoying, but he's so worth the effort. He looks fantastic with Chalice in my display and I highly recommend you try to track him down.

i wouldn't mind the OOO's figuarts getting renewal versions. the sculpt isn't bad, but they're all extremely loose in the joints and their ankles have very limited sideways movement

My one complaint about the OOOs line is the headsculpt. It doesn't look accurate enough for me, at least with TaToBa. something about it just seems off. I love the actual suit, and the plamo model head is accurate as well, I just, don't like the figuarts one.

The other OOO figuarts like Tajadoru seem to fine. I don't think they need to renewal the whole line. Tajadoru looks great and I never have any issues with him.

I doubt we will get a re-newal W anytime soon.

Figuart technology has certainly come a long way since then, but the W line has sooo many figures that i doubt Bandai is considering re doing the line. Even if they skip secondary characters, W still has like 10 forms himself, and while most of them would be basically re-paint, i doubt such an investment could be worth it.

The renewals made sense with Black because A)It was Black, so of course it was going to sell and B)At the time there were only 3 Figures in that line, so it was pretty much a safe investment.

That said, i could see Bandai re-doing selected Figuarts using that sub-line that they created for the new Kabuto and Hibiki; they could re-release some of the main Heisei Riders in that line like W and OOO under the pretense of doing a high grade version of those figuarts. I doubt they would do the same for the classic riders given how perfect they already are, but i wouldn´t put it past bandai.

If they renewal W and OOO then I have a feeling the other forms will be web exclusives. Not everyone can shell out $50 - $80 on one figure. That's why I never bother collecting Wizard's other forms besides the ones that get a retail release.

I really don't see a reason for renewals of OOO and W, but if they do, they would only be the main forms.

The only ones that really need renewals now are Agito and Kuuga.

God help me if they do Kuuga. Because I JUST got Agito, and I'm trying to get Kuuga Titan. Not that I think they really need it anyway, the figures look good as they are to me.

I won Luna Trigger off from Ebay and it should be here by next week. I finally own all of the main forms of Kamen Rider W. I now I need three more figuarts of OOO and my main forms of OOO will be complete. If W gets renewal then I hope it won't be for a while. They should do Kuuga and Agito first.
