RIP Takashi Watabe

RIP Takashi Watabe 1936 - 2010

I only just recently found out about this. Takeshi Watabe died due to pneumonia in December 13, 2010, at the age of 74.

I'm not too familiar with his anime roles. But I am aware of some of his tokusatsu roles like Gyodai (Changeman), Lagorn (Turboranger), Bukkubakku (Zyuranger) AKA Squatt (MMPR), Battobasu (Gingaman), Creation King (Kamen Rider Black), God Neros (Metalder) & Gaohm (Juuko B-Fighter).

What?? No He is one of my favorite toku VOA's, He can't be gone.

R.I.P Takeshi, It is thanks to your vocal talents That made certain characters watchable to me, you will never be forgotten.

Looks like we won't be hearing his voice in Goukaiger after all.

Plus, he also voiced Inazuma Ginga in Sun Vulcan and Emperor Aton in Dynaman.

He did well to get to the fans hearts. But on the downside, he won't be able to see Gokaiger and think to himself that he made a lot of kids happy.

RIP, dude.

I read about this. Watabe was one of my favorite villain voice actors. (It's funny that his role in my favorite Sentai show didn't exactly give him much to do, but...it showed off his range, I guess.)

I enjoyed his performance as BukkuBakku alot .... he makes me laugh whenever there are funny scenes with him in it

RIP :(

This sucks he was also the voice of Gamabunta from Naruto.

R.I.P. and thanks for bringing to life some great characters
