Resistance Taskforce Strikenger (sign up)
November seventh, 2009 a day that marked a huge turning point for the entire human race. It was the first day that their ships had appeared in the skies above the world's major city. The Dezaras ,as they referred to themselves, were revealed to be a race of benevolent and startlingly human like aliens who merely wished to advance those living on earth with the promises of new technologies and the possibility of building a new utopian society without war, poverty and strife. We welcomed the Dezaras with open arms, allowing them to integrate themselves into our society. In time they made good on their promises, slowly introducing their technology across the world, and forging better relations between governments, all while postioning themselves in government and nearly all institutions known to man in order to make sure their work wouldnt collapse. With the Dezaras becoming more and more numerous within the various world governments some began to believe that they were gaining a little too much influence over earth, and those that believed that had a tendency to vanish without a trace. by the time people began to wonder if there were more sinister intetions driving the Dezaras it was far too late. The Dezaras had so deeply ingrained within Earth's governing bodies, having more or less replaced earth's militaries with their own soldiers, and of course the ever present Dezaras mother ships and their special warp network that allowed their agents to be able to warp anywhere on earth, any time and from any place. Even with no war involved, Earth was more or less conquered and we let them do it.
In time the Dezaras began to show their true colors, herding humans into internment camps where they would be forced to work maintaining their various warp network nodes, ships, overseer vehicles, as well as farming the food the the Dezaras would likely horde for themselves. In time humans became less like people and more like property as the Dezaras had no more need to continue projecting the facade of benevolence as well as shedding their human like disguises and revealing the true repitilian beings that they were. As the decades continued to pass humans were driven into underground stasis modules where they would remain until needed by their new masters while the Dezaras occupied the surface of our world. They saw humans as little more than workers or raw materials to create powerful, yet disposable soldiers or bio computers for their use.
Within this conquered world through, there was a ray of hope though. A group of humans who had escaped stasis, and the geneforges of the Dezaras and found one another. It was through through this that the underground resistance movement known as Deus-X was formed to eventually take back the world that was stolen from them. It wasnt a quick or easy operation though. It took years to "aquire" and repurpose the technology to develop the six sets of Striker Gear powerful enough to take on the Dezaras, even longer still to assemble a team of users skilled enough to use them Finally though, in the year 2079 the team has been assembled, and trained to properly use the Striker Gears the time has finally come for them to fulfill their purpose and retake our homeworld.

Dezaras facilties:
Just because I think you need to know them.
Stasis Modules: Underground chambers where regular non-geneforged humans are kept in storage, usually their inhabitants are used for menial work for the Dezaras.
Bio-Computer Growers: Humans whose genes have been structured for optimum mental capacity are cloned here, when ready for use they are taken and plugged into the Dezaras network and function as living servers.
Soldier Trainers: Where humans whose genes have been optimized for combat purposes are cloned and conditioned to serve the Dezaras unquestioningly. After a certain age they are given cybernetic and shipped out to serve as the Dezaras Shocktroops.
Genebreeder: A facility where the Dezaras take the genes from their stronger geneforged humans in order to create stronger generations of servants.
Striker Gears:
The devices and weapons used by the team.
General Gear:
The gear used by the whole team.
Striker Brace: The wrist worn device which allows the team to communicate over great distances and keep in contact with the Deus-X facility. By utilizing a hacked frequency within the Warp Network they can summon their Striker Suits with the command "Striker _____, Suit Up."
Striker Pistol:
The sidearm used by the team in both their suited up and normal states. Has three settings: Rapid Shot, Tracking Shot and Power Shot.

The suit and weapons used by Striker Black. Generally designed to do alot of damage farily quickly. Due to the heavy nature of it's weapons and the suit itself it requires enhanced strength to use.
Weapons:
1. Striker Chainsword: A chainsaw/sword hybrid that utilizes vibration technology to maximize cutting power.
2. Tanker Shield: A defensive weapon which can defend against nearly any attack thrown at it, and be used to ram into enemies.
Other Features: Enhanced strength, high defense, and enhanced enemy radar.
Series Blue Gear:
A suit used to hack into Dezaras machinery and computers. Requires a user with an enhanced mind from a Bio-Computer Facility.
Weapons:
1. Virus Whip: A whip weapon which can attach to machinery and transmit a virus into it's inner computer, alloing Striker Blue to temporarily control it.
2. Hacker Gauntlet: A glove weapon which can be used by Striker Blue to directly interface with machines and hack into them, as well as pack one hell of a punch.
Other Features: The only suit capable of generating a hack field in the warp network, allowing them to teleport around the world with ease. Has average stats but with it's technological control abilities it balances out.
Series Green Gear:
The stealth specialist possessing various weapons with high accuracy which can be used to trike from a distance. Can be used by any type of human.
Weapons:
1. Strike Sniper: A sniper rifle which can be used to fire high accuracy power shots from any distance, also with tracking shot capability.
2. Flight Striker: A unique flight pack used by Striker Green to put more distance between enemies and himself to give him an advantage. Meant to be used in conjuction with the Strike Sniper.
Other Features: It has no enhanced stats but is the only flight capable suit and posses a special cloaking device and sound dampener allowing for maximum stealth abilities. Can extend a cloak field around his allies.
Series Violet Gear:
A suit focusing on demolitions use, possesing weapons specilized in breaking through objects. Has enhanced defense just in case. Requires no special gene engineering but does require some training.
Weapons:
1. Heat Drill: A large heated drill weapon which can bpore through most walls with relative ease.
2. Grenade Hurler: A grenade launcher which fires masses of condensed energy at enemies.
3. Striker Mines: Sets of mines meant for trapping enemies, or breaking down obstacles.
Other Features: The suit projects a special signal that prevents it's wearer and the other Strikengers from accidentaly setting off any mines, either her own or those left by enemies. The suit has been especially reinforced to handle explosions and naturally has high defense.
Striker Yellow:
A unique armor used to disrupt the dezaras network, and devices connected to it as well disable various devices.
1. Distortion Claw: A claw weapon which can be used to cause damage to enemies and disrupt the Dezaras network. Can also be used to electrify enemies.
2. Blackout Projector: A device usedd to create blind spots within the Dezaras network, thus creating a distraction for enemies.
Ohter Features: the suit projects a signal which makes the team seem invisible to the Dezaras network. Works best when used with Green's cloak field.
Series White Gear:
The wild card of the group whose abilities vary depending on the sitation thanks to the nanomachines in the suit. Also serves as the medic of the group. Was designed for the daughter of the Striker Suit's creator.
Weapons:
1. Warp Rider: A hover board with a been edge which utilizes the warp network to glide above the ground and strike enemies.
2. Recharge Beam: A beam pistol which drains power from the Dezaras network and restores it to herself or the others.
3. Nanites: A series of nanomachines which can repair damage to the other suits.
Other Features: Due to the nanomachines in the suit, Striker White can adjust her abilities and strengths according to wharever enemy they are facing.

Deus-X:
The underground resistance movement dedicating to reclaiming the world from the Dezaras. With a use of special technologies they keep their gradually growing underground citadel from showing up on the Dezaras network. Their home simply known as "Freehaven" is a refuge for all those liberated by them and at the center of the citadel known as the Nerve Center is the headquarters for Deus-X and the hom of the Strikengers.

The Strikengers who fight to liberate the world. They all live together in an area of the Nerve Center known as Synapse. As a result they all know each other and are used to one another. Their rather colorful suits are meant to be an easily reconizable symbol of hope for humanity.

Shockers: The grunts which do most of the fighting for the Dezaras. They are genetically enhanced cybernetic humans who no longer have any will of their own. Despite their being human, defeating them is a more merciful act than letting them live.
Shocker Command types: Command type grunts which are significantly stronger than the standard version, and possesing more weapons as well.

Bio: Many years ago most humans were born by normal means with a mother and father, though in this generation all of those not born in Freehaven arent so fortunate. Talyn was one such person, cloned by the Dezaras with his genes optimized for combat, it was determined that he would be able to serve as an exemplary command type Shocker rather than an ordinary one. It seemed that he would be doomed to a life of serving the Dezaras and suppressing his own people just like all others who were cloned to be Shockers for the Dezaras. But fate had something different in mind for him. While still very young, and long before the mental conditioning began a team of Deus-X operatives, led by the founder Nathaniel Grey and was liberated by them and taken to Freehaven. In that time the Striker suits were still in the planning stages but already people were considering the possibility of him being raised to use such a suit sometime down the line. Given the fact that he wasnt just intended to be any ordinary Shocker, but a commander type it seemed that he would be a natural choice when he was old enough to use it. while Nathaniel believed that raising him simply to fight was rather cruel, he couldnt ignore such a possibility for the fight for humanity's future. He chose to take a sort of middle ground, and agreed to the plan. Giving him the name Talyn he was raised as Nathaniel's son. Over the years Nathaniel allowed them to give him martial arts training throughout the years, and provided him with a training regiment that still allowed him with time for social interactions with others in order to ensure that he would at least be a properly adjusted person. Needless to say his origins were kept secret from him in order for him to feel a little more normal.
With the Strikenger project underway he was often encouraged to hang around the others who had been chosen to be raised for the purpose of someday becoming Strikengers, as the organization believed that to ensure success and making working together easier that the group should know one another from a young age. He had always been paler than the others and with that blue marker on his face which had been used to designate what type of Shocker he was meant to be and his red eyes. While he thought nothing of it himself it seemed that the others were a little unnerved or even a little afraid of his appearance, causing him to become a little withdrawn in his younger days causing him to focus more on his combat practice rather than his social interactions thrrought out his teenaged years. By that time they didnt find his appearance as unnerving but by then he found scializing with them to be a little akward which made it a little difficult for him to mesh with the rest of the group. He was at least friendly toward them though, he just didnt seem to talk much to them most of the time.
Finally after so many years of development and work the Striker Gears had been completed and he along with the others were presented with the Striker Braces, thus formally making the Strikenger team a reality. He cant help but feel a little nervous about his combat and leadership abilities, but he trusts than when it comes down to it all of that training he recieved throughout his life will serve the team well.
Personality wise Talyn is rather friendly toward people, regardless of how they are to him, and seems to be dedicated to doing his best at all of his endeavors, especially when doing things for others. Very few things actually seem to bother him, and he always seems to be wearing that same smile on his face even during those more difficult days of his youth. Wether this is simply a facade or not has yet to be seen but no matter what he always seems to be willing to press on and keep going. His dedication to bringing about a better way of life to everyone at least gives him an attitude that perfectly suits him for duty as Striker Black.
