"It's decided then." Talyn said, visibly less nervous due to the words from his allies. If most of them were sure it could work, then he could at least be sure it could work. "Time to head out and do what we were brought together to do!" he shouted enthusiastically, successfully making it seem as if his doubts had never been there in the first place. With the that the group left the briefing room and headed toward one of the exit's of freehaven. On the way out each of them grabbed a set of night vision lenses, in order to see while in the unlit tunnels that stretched out from Freehaven toward the surface. As it is their resources were limited lighting these tunnels would put the generators they had managed to slap together under even more strain which they certainly didnt need.
Finally they reached the end, the surface was only a little further away. Talyn once again felt anxious as he closed the distance between himself and the surface. This would be the first time he had ever laid eyes on it. He wondered what it would be like up there. He wondered what the sun, clouds, and everything else really looked like rather than having to rely on old stories from those old enough to remember the surface world. Finally they emerged in a heavily wooded area which concealed the entrance to the tunnel. The sky was grey, with the sun concealed by masses of black clouds. The ground was moist and the air had a peculiar scent to it as well. The trees themselves were dripping wet with water that had fallen from the skies not long ago. Rain, thats what it must have been, or at least the after effects of rain. Long ago such a thing would have been a grim day, but for someone like Talyn whose whole life was spent underground it was quite an experience nonetheless. The fact that this world was completely under the control of the Dezaras was a sobering though though, dispelling the almost euphoric feeling as soon as it came. "According to Deus-X's intel there is warp network tower a few miles away from here. Lets get going." he said as he began to lead the group out of the forest.
Soon the large, dark and jagged Dezaras buildings which had taken the place of the old human made structures that used to cover these lands. As expected a Warp Network node came into view as well. Things were going well so far. "Johann, get to work on hacking the network, the rest of us will be on standby just in case trouble shows up." he said. For a few seconds things seemed peaceful until the omiious sound of a large aircraft was heard over head. Several spotlights shined down from it on Talyn and his comrades and soon groups of soldiers clad in silver armor, wielding weapns of varying types descended down onto the ground. Shockers, the Dezaras' personal attack dogs who focused as the first, and often only, response to any humans that managed to somehow get out of their various facilities. Without giving them any time to think they all charged toward the various team members. "Keep them from getting Johann, if he goes down then the whole mission is blown!" Talyn shouted as he managed to force back one of the Shockers that rushed toward him, only to get swarmed by six more of them. Soon enough they were all sent flying backwards though as a black armored figure stood in Talyn's place.

"Bring it on I dare you." he said as he pressed a button on his Striker Brace.

Suddenly a large and intimidating chainsaw like sword materialized in his hand before he swung it horizontally, cutting clear through the Shockers that attempted to swarm him, causing their bodies to incinerate due to the Dezaras hardware shorting out. He dropped into a fighting stance with the chainsword behind him, preparing to take on the next wave f attackers that came his way.
