Rank the Transformer Series

You can't even compare the two. No other Transformers series spoke to me as much as the original. I don't begrudge anyone's likes and dislikes here, but this is the version that introduced me and a lot of people to the genre.

So I repeat, IMO...the original and the greatest. The. End.

He didn't say it IS the greatest. He said AND the greatest. There is a difference.

Thank you.

First five haven't impressed me much. Is this the tone of the series or does it get better and around when?

Is it good enough to stack up against Beast Wars?

Not even close to beast wars. I enjoyed animated, but it doesn't stack up to many of the TF series. The only TF series I really don't like is Beast Machines.

I didn't really grow up with G1. I had the 'More than Meets the Eyes' multi parter on tape and I watched it a LOT of times as a kid, but nothing else.

Suffice to say that when I got the DVD sets I was rather...dissapointed by the sudden drop in quality from those great first episodes to the next one -.-

"That's it! CHANGE!" augh -.-

Transformers Animated is pretty much an action/adventure series that has the same humour as Beast Wars, it's definatly the best "pure" TF series since G1.

Is the foundation sure...but its really dated with plenty of silly fridge logic moments, silly plots that make so sense and horrible animation errors even for the time.

Just like a lot of the early DCAU :redface2:

G1 is awesome. It has as many great episodes as it does bad...as do ALL series
