Ranger Powers and how to Destroy them

So, i;m watching Ninja Storm, and Lothar said something in Episode 5 and again in 6 that puzzle's me...

He said that the only way to destroy a ranger's powers is to do it while they are currently in use.

This got me thinking. So you couldn't say, steal their morpher when its not in use and smash it with a rock or anything?

But that would not destroy the power, just it's anchor in this world, it would still exist in the Morphing Grid. So if you where to do the same thing when it's on, it (Theoretically) wipes that power from the Morphing Grid and renders it extinct never to come back.

But then, couldn't you just rebuild the morpher and make the same powers again? or are people limited to one time per power, and if it goes they can't ever use the same one again. And what about if the power is used to make another (Zeo to Turbo powers)?

My head hurts :laugh:
Any thoughts/idea's?

Well I can see how what lothor said makes sense. So the powers must lie dormant in the morphers and when used is when they are vulnerable.

Lol your rock theory is hilarious, because I've thought of that at one point also. But I figure if that were to happen..the powers will have no where to "live" so to speak. So it'll probably disappear.

But when they're in ranger form how do you destroy it exactly?

Beating the rangers to a pulp? That won't work because it'll just power down, but not destroy it.

Well let us see... Remember in "Once a Ranger" when Thrax and the other baddies combined their energies and stripped the Rangers of their powers? I assume the only way they could have done that was if they were in Ranger form. However, it still didn't really strip them of the power, because Alpha was able to enter the grid repair it. I suspect the power was lost somewhere in the "archives" of the grid. So, in conclusion...I guess the power will always be accessible in the long run.

If i remember right, they Damaged the Morphing Grid itself, causing the powers to fail.

Then Zuban Sentinel Knight provided a alternate power source (as well as fixing Adam's Mastadon Power Coin) for the OAR team while Alpha 7 fixed the grid.

But then why didn't he just do that for the Overdrive rangers?

Maybe the powers work differently depending on the team? Maybe there's not just one morphing grid, maybe there's a bunch of them.
