Question about Kiva

Well I think differently either Toei produce show based on what majority wants or they been cutting down too much budget produce some good shows. If the show isn't good and for 3 episodes straight nothing important happening then is okay to skip around. Its better to check out some clips or episodes of any toku series on youtube before starting it. Kiva have so many boring fillers even the girls don't kept me continuing watching it so I skip more then half series.

Thank you. If a show doesn't grab me in the first three episodes, I usually won't bother wasting my time on it and if a series takes twenty to thirty episodes to actually go anywhere interesting (see: Den-O) then what the hell is the point? No way in hell will that save a show for me, I have much better things to be doing with my time!

I still feel that they could've done it better without time traveling crap.. What part of it does it belong in Kiva? And whatever happened to the damn horror theme? At least Den-O and Kabuto has a reason behind the time traveling thing. For Kiva... No. It was random. Out of place. "Oh hey, did I mention that the dragon castle thing also happens to have the door that lets you travel in TIME?" BULL CRAP! We don't need Nago's pointless trip to the past to find out who Wataru's mother is. We would've figured it out even before they outwardly reveal it. Okay, I'm done complaining about this.

In retrospect, Kiva has an interesting concept but they fail to orchestrate it properly...

Wouldn't that make a odd time loop without a continuum?

In terms of timeline/order of events:
[hide]1) baby Taiga is born (Taiga's father is Dark Kiva, mother is Maya)
2) Maya meets Otoya, they start to see each other, eventually falling in love and at some point, doing the horizontal tango
3) adult Wataru arrives in 1986 from the future
4) adult Wataru and Otoya defeat Dark Kiva (Dark Kiva is Taiga's father)
5) adult Wataru returns to the future and Otoya dies
6) baby Wataru is born in late 1986 or early 1987 (Wataru's father is Otoya, mother is Maya)[/hide][/hide]

I've always thought that in the original timeline Otoya used the arm monsters to defeat the King. When he possessed Wataru in the present, he knew how to use the Basha Magnum, after all, but he never used it in the series itself.

Yeah, Nago's time travel bit wasn't that useful, created a paradox/plot hole and highlighted how insane/stupid their organization is to only have 3-4 members even 20 years after the Rook massacre on where IXA was first developed. Still, part of it went a ways to redeeming Nago's character but there must have been a smarter way to do it.

One thing I just can't let go is how they either didn't have enough money or creativity to make the end of Kiva's fights after obtaining the Emperor form and Zanvat look better then basic stock footage.
