Powerpuff Girl Anime (plus Henshin Sequence)...

As good as Bleedman is, he isnt the animator type. He is better off on his own personal Doujin/Manga. If anything, He could be a H-Game Maker! :P

We all know he is a pervert. He just hides it! Oooh, what a perverted mind he must have, and imagine the secret stacks of his personal Home-made Hentai he made. lol

Just watched episode 2 thanks to TV-Nihon. This episode was a step down. Parody? Yeah, this series isnt Parodying crap. I've seen Anime parody itself and this isnt how they do it. This show is cliche' hack anime writing at its freaking best in this episode. Im so sick of seeing Anime-Falls and long winded explanations. Did no one see episode one? We know how they became PPZ! We dont need a whole freaking 2 episodes to explain that. It's such a simple concept, are the little children so dense that they cant catch on to the concept right away?

Here's how episode 2 went:
Act 1- Watch Bubbles Skip, re-explain everything, Blossum fights Mojo. That's it. No witty or funny dialogue. Just boring, typical, hack-job dialogue that's not interesting to listen to in the least. It almost feels as though it's trying too hard to be funny at this point. But it's not.

Act 2- Explain how they get their belts. yay. The whole act was so boring, not even interesting. It's like "thats cute, get on with it".

So far the original PPG cartoon owns this crap. They got to the point, they had REAL humor, GOOD writing, and brutal fights. This is just anime at it's worst. It's so boring and predictable.

I liked episode 1 but ****. Episode 2 was just stupid. I hope the future episodes make up for this. We dont need long ass explanations for everything. Get to the comedy, get to the situational crap, get to the good fights. I dont need to have a reexplanation of the plot over and over.

You`re coming down way too hard on such a new show. And of course you know that first episode was just a pilot right? The story starting in the second story in ep one was the begining of the real story.

This has the man behind Digimon working on it, so I`m going to give it 10 episodes to flesh itself out. I thought the same thing of my beloved G-Gundam,Digimon Kenshin and even the great Tenchi Muyo.

If you cut down a apple tree while it`s still a sapling you`ll never taste it`s fruit.

Episode three was just awesome, I love Buttercup and seeing her try to kill that dang dog was gold. If they totally mess up the whole RRBZ thing then I guess I might have to eat my words, but right now things look good.

Does it? Well then again, I didnt watch Subbed Digimon. I watched the english and I liked it. I wonder if I would even like subbed Digimon. There comes a moment where I try to imagine a Japanese Digimon. I imagine a lot of the jokes cut out, things being a tad more serious, and slow. Dialogue not being as interesting either. If it's one thing a dub can do, is turn the crap dialogue of Japanese Animation and turn it into something entertaining for westerners.

Personally, episode 1 was good. PPG doesnt need a story. Episode 1 did a great job telling me how the girls got their powers, I dont need another one reexplaining everything to me. Not to mention there wasnt anything particularly funny about episode 2. Nothing interesting either. The dialogue was just basic and boring. It was a step down from Episode 1 completely.

You DARE not like G Gundam and Tenchi Muyo right away??? O_O Come ON MAN! I'll give you G Gunda, but Tenchi? No freaking way! that series is bad ass right from the first episode! ^_^ I love ALL of Tenchi! great franchise. And **** FUNIMATION FOR RAPING MY DREAMS >_< IF PIONEER HAD GOTTEN THE RIGHTS TO 3OVA I BET PETREA BUCHARD WOULD HAVE RETURNED!!! **** YOU FUNIMATION!

*ahem* no, seriously. How could you not like Tenchi right off the bat. The show is classic. Loved every minute of it. Those were the good ol days too.

PPG just cant be compared to the greatness of G Gundam and Tenchi Muyo. So far it's nothing like them in terms of interesting dialogue and good writing. (I'm speaking from a Sub angle here! I have seen G Gundam and Tenchi subbed and dubbed. Cause I loved them so much, I just had to.)

But anyway, I'm not going to stop watching. I just want to see how they handle the villains and such. But episode 2 definitely sucked. I hope not every episode will be like that

O_O my god I have to see that.

lol. Anywho episode 3 was ok. Buttercup is cute. I liked part 2 better than part 1. It was more casual. I hope we're done with the explanations.

It's not the Power Puff Girls. It's just another magic girl anime that uses the power puff girls as it's basis, but doesn't capture any of the flavor of the original. I think it's doomed to failure - at least in America.

I think that PPGZ actually captures the same feeling you get from the original, cept Japafied. While it IS indeed another Magical Girl Anime, what the hell is expected? That's EXACTLY what Power Puff Girls are. Magical Girls! >.<!

It was made perfectly to portray an AU world of the Power Puff. I think this show will be a refreshingly different take on the Power Puff Girl Story. Though I know for sure that everyone who is a critic will take a cheap shot at the DBZ-ness about it. It's gonna be a sad day indeed.

What I meant by "magic girl anime" is that they have some sort of magic item and transform. In the original, they were just kindergarteners that were always superheroes, without transforming. The cheesy artwork was part of the original charm, and now that they're completely chibified, it's just not the same to me. That, and I absolutely abhore what they've done to Mojo.

I... liked DBZ. I mean, like everyone, I was annoyed at the 3 episodes of powering up, and the fact that they'd spend entire episodes on secondary/tertiary characters during critical plot points, like the multiple episodes focusing on Bulma during the Namek/Ginyu sagas. DBZ was 260ish episodes that could've been condensed into 100, and probably had a lot more people like it.
