Power Rangers RPM

The E/I label is put there by the broadcaster and nobody really bothers verifying if its accurate or not. Crap like That's So Raven and Hannah Montanna get the E/I label, Sonic X on 4KidsTV had the E/I label unless I'm wrong. Kirby Right Back At Ya too!

So its would be REAL easy to slap it on RPM.

So what, it gives a show more cred or respect or something?

And how is PR educational to kids?

Did you read my post at all?

seriously though, underachiever you gotta stop holding your breath. *shrugs*

Yeah, I know. :(:disappoin

I check my tv. And it said that RPM will be on. Two new episode. For me it start at 11am.

I won't worry about people not watching it. The RPM Promo have over 50,000 views and it only been 2 weeks.

No, the networks are just recquired by law to show a certain ammount of E/I content per week. But since they decide what fits the E/I bill it basically means they have to have kids shows on.

That's how DiC stayed in buisness: by shoving out cheap E/I stuff for syndication.

I have spokne to Cheryl Saban, who while is not involved in the production anymore, has heard that the series is coming to a close. She says it's had a good run, and it's too bad that it has to end. But, on the positive side, she's right. It did have a good run.... 600 episodes, now that's pretty good, and I'm impressed.... who knows though..... stuff happens... so... don't take this word as final.

Cheryl is a wonderful lady. She has become a strong influence in my life.... And I take her word as gold. But again, who knows what the future has in store. A Disney Executive has told me that this is only semitrue, and it's unconfirmed, but RPM will be the last LIVE ACTION Power Rangers series from Disney.

Now *that's* sad. :disappoin

They've been talking about doing an animated PR for years, though. I suppose it would mean they wouldn't be dependent on going with whatever Sentai did the previous year, but it would be the end of an era.

I guess this explains the poor marketing that RPM has been getting.

And as much as I am looking forward to RPM, I'm glad that Power Rangers will be out of Disney's misery someday. Sad that a franchise I grew up with is going away, but I've dealt with this before and PR isn't alone on this. I personally felt that prior to RPM, Disney has been raping the franchise six ways from Sunday (though I kinda liked Dino Thunder because of Tommy and Trent).

If RPM is as epic as the beta trailer, then PR will go down in a blaze of glory.

Yup, hence all of the "it would be" in my last post. ;) But yeah. I'm curious what the Disney exec meant by "semi-true." It would either be live-action or not! What would they do? Live actors and animated Rangers?
