Power Rangers RPM

:redface2: You do realise Power Rangers can be set anywhere in the world? There's nothing exclusively American about the format, and never has been.
Well every season to date has taken place in the US. It would be kinda awkward to all of the sudden have a season take place in London.

Considering RPM was going to be pulled before Jetix Europe jumped on-board, American audiences are clearly not much of a priority anymore for the Power Rangers brand. Which makes it possible Jetix Europe - which is now a Disney company - could just inherit the franchise from next year, and the show is made just for Eurasian audiences.

So let's say that's the case, why would Jetix Europe spend money on "faking" America, when the show could just as equally be set in Britain?
Money is the key factor here though. If the show's being produced, there's no point in not airing it and reaping the benefits of toy sales.

By the way, even if Disney stopped making Power Rangers, they'd still retain all the rights and buy future Sentai series. This is a given, so don't waste any time hoping Adness would buy the rights, it's never going to happen. Never.

I really think RPM is the final season of live action American Power Rangers. IMO, if you're wanting future live action series, Jetix Europe is really your only hope.

if RPM is going to be the last season, it better be one hell of a season. Or as I said before, I am pimp smacking ever person who works on PR at disney, that includes the janitor who cleans up. Oy, my child hood memories are being destoryed. F&*" YOU DISNEY!!!!!!!

It's such a confusing time to be a PR fan right now. I hate seeing the show in limbo like this. I also think that RPM will be the last season of PR. And I really wish I didn't think that.

Bandai also has a say so in the production of a PR series. Why would they make a Survey asking kids about Japanese Kanji and Samurai's if we won't get a 2010 season?

I feel exactly the same. And this whole rights bidness. Disney should give'em back to toei or w/e.

At least try to sell it, to an American company that wants to take it seriously...will that be hard to find?

I don't care about any jetix this, disney XD that, any disney branches, or anything.

Just take my dear sweet power rangers away from disney.
Don't even give it to Disney JAPAN. lol

If Disney Japan got it we'll end up with some crap like Power Sentai Samurai Force.

I'll say the best American companies that have a shot at getting rights to PR are Cartoon Network and Possibly 4Kids but that'll be a longshot for them.
