With the exception of Ninja Storm, those seasons weren't that lighthearted. DinoThunder had a balance of seriousness and lightheartedness, SPD did too to an extent. Mystic Force wasn't super dark, but it wasn't lighthearted either. It was somewhere in the middle. Overdrive as well. So, I don't really get why people think that the Disney seasons are beating you over the head with cheese and corniness. Just because they don't take themselves too seriously doesn't mean they're super kiddy.

Anyway, what's so special about SERIOUS PR? You know, I've learned over the three years I've been here not to take you too seriously, but please, tell me why you want PR to be so super duper "Dark Knight"-esque serious? PR is NOT Batman, it is NOT a prime time drama, and it never will be. I don't understand why you don't get that.

It's because it is badass. PERIOD.

Also, I know you liked Ninja Storm and Kamen Rider Den-O, which were both lighthearted, so what's up with that?

Uh, not Ninja Storm. I loved Kamen Rider Den-O because it is Kamen Rider and it's better than Ninja Storm.

It's my opinion that I love to have dark in PR, just like Time Force and Saban's era (PRiS-PRWF).

The reason why I loved about dark in PR is because they had an emotion, drama, storyline of what happened and others. Disney's PR don't have an emotion. All is they were being an idiot. The Rangers don't need to be an idiot and retard. Idiots do not deserve to wear the spandex. PERIOD. That's my opinion.

Kamen Rider Den-O has nothing to do with Power Rangers and stay out of Power Rangers.

Operation Overdrive> Lighthearted

Yeah nothing screams lighthearted like waking up to seeing your body laying across the room while your head is connected to a bunch of wires. That was seriously one of the darkest moments I've seen on PR. :laugh:

I guess it's a good thing that Go-Onger's fight scenes have always been serious toned, at least RPM will maybe be able to get away with having a serious tone, unlike a few past seasons when some of the fights didn't match the tone of the non-fighting scenes or personalities of the characters at all.

Was Zeo lighthearted I can't tell. If it was that's an example of a badass lighthearted season.

Post-apocalyptic drivel >< all its gonna do is mess up the continuity! When is it going to be set? Between JF and SPD?

Hopefully they'll wisen up and set in the interval between SPD and Time Force. There's a large place for Earth to turn into a wasteland before being reborn by the year 3000... so we can go back to normal continuity the year after.
