Since they're launching Disney XD, Disney Channel for boys. The articles point out Disney wants alot of live action for boys that's why they're making Aaron Stone and a couple other short live action series.

Not to mention Marvel's TAS (Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Iron Man & Hulk) which all would run along side PR.

So now the argument is will Disney increase the episode number now that PR is a main show for that network.

Since they bought Saban and Fox Kids out for $1.5 billion 7 years ago, $400 million of which was just for Power Rangers.

PR is their second biggest brand (second only to Disney Princess). It's bigger than Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. And it's the leading boy brand and boy's show on the planet.

I would seriously kill to have a slice of PR's budget at work. The amount Disney pays just for renting out studio space in New Zealand is the same as my total above-and-below annual budget for 10 years.

In other its a huge brand and money cow but they take it for granted while they got out of their way to push all their silly tweencoms. Do you know how many magazine I got at work with the High School Musical gang on the cover? And we don't offer that much choice in magazine!!

But is there a single one with the cast of Power Rangers? NEVER. (Then again maybe little boys don't buy magazines but still... how about some panini sticker albums? Those always sell with the kiddies!).

So if that is the case why has PR become shitty over the years?. From writing to adversing. Seriously...how the hell are kids gonna know if they're new episodes next week if you don't air promos for them? that's why rating went down since PRMF.

Just like I'm saying. Disney only holds on to Power Rangers for the toy money and doesn't seem to care one bit about the show.

And you can be certain the moment the show drops too much in rating they'll unceremoniously yank the plug with no afterthought as to why it happen or if they could reverse it or not.

And if it drops from the top 5 spots for boy toys you can be certain it'll dissapear and we'll never get a DVD release of old season. Not that there is a good chance for it at the moment either.
