"Allright, you all set in their Richie?" a tech asked as Richard stood in the spacious central control chamber of the Blademaster Knightmare Armor. It was still largely incomplete, with most of it's heavier armor and weapons still being assembled, in fact it was in many ways just a large metallic skeleton. In addition the other Knightmare armors were still in the planning stages. Nevertheless there were some systems that were ready for testing, such as the motion control system. As of now it was stored in a large, somewhat open hangar that provided just enough room for it to move around a little while the techs observed it, all deep underground in the large Project Knightmare headquarters.
"I would prefer it if you addressed me properly, but yes I am, as you put it all set." he said as he took the Knightmaqre crystal from within his pocket and held it above his head. "Knightmare Flash!!" he shouted as parts of the crystal began dissolving into the nanobots that it was composed of, which resembled shining red dust in this state. The nanomachines swirled around him like a shimmering tornado as the base body suit enveloped him, next the body armor seemingly spontaneously materialized and attached itself to the proper areas on the suit. Finally the helmet began to form around his head with the visor sliding down to conceal his face. "Transformation complete, now commencing link up." Richard told the techs as a readout appeared on his visor and on the various computers that the techs were using which showed the synchronization rate between certain parts of the suit and certain parts of the mech.
"Allright, not 100% but we can work with it for now. Try moving it around a little." the tech told him.
"Understood." Richard said as he raised his right forearm. The mech's reaction was a little delayed but soon enough the mech did the same. He next attempted to move the mech's left leg, causing it to stumble resulting in a small tremor within the mech which caused Richard to fall over, forcefully severing the link between the pilot and the machine.
"H-heh s-sorry about that apparently we still have some fine tuning to do with the legs." one of the techs said, hoping to avoid another lecture about how incomptent Richard believed he was. Those were never pleasant, and if he could avoid them he would.
"That is an understatement. If I didnt have more important things to take care of I'd have to remind you to actually do your job properly." he said sounding a little annoyed as he exited the mech, not bothering to wait for the techs to assist him in getting out, and then taking the lift down from the cockpit and removing his Knightmare suit.
"I swear, if they are what im relying on to provide me with weapons then I think im better off designing these things myself." he said sounding rather grouchy as he entered the main Project Knightmare facility.
Richard Alvein, the leader of the Knightmare Rangers. He was descended for a knight renowned for his bravery, sword mastery as well as the high value he placed on the lives of his comrades. His ancestor was a great man, and in his own right Richard was fairly close to being great himself though at the same time incredibly different from his ancestor. He was cold and calculating, he limited his contact with his "comrades" to a bare minimum, refusing to speak with them outside of battle unless he had to. He was also less than caring toward those he was charged with protecting. Nonetheless he was brilliant, being a master tactician that could think up plans that could overcome overwhelming odds. It seemed that his good and bad qualities balanced each other out , though it was his bad qualities that seemed to be the most apparent to those around him.
As always he headed back to his quarters within the facility, due to the nature of Project Knightmare they deemed it best to keep the team all in one place and thus had provided the team with the necessary living arrangements. Richard seemed to spend most of his time there, naturally the door was locked. In fact the only timee anyone ever saw him leave was for either training, combat or that mysterious job of his that he refused to tell anyone about.
((Do whatever, the entire team should be in or near the Project Knightmare facility.))
