I stand corrected

Hey, moron. Back off, will ya? You ain't the king of Anti-Kalish. You're losing your own enegry to hate Bruce Kalish. This is getting bored now.

GET. OVER. IT.

I don't want to read the comment directly from you, Zarius, if you have something to say to me.

=====================================================

Now here's my review of this episode.

I totally loved this episode so much.

Good:

-So far, they had to re-shot the part of Pink Ranger's Mystical tornado instead of using cannon. Thanks goodness. Well job, Bruce Kalish.

-Xander = FRICKIN' AWESOME!! He's my favorite character next to Bridge.

-Madison... she is getting hot and beautiful.

-Udonna... finally. A true mentor. She yelled at Rangers "ENOUGH!" Dang, that was awesome.

-Phineus. He was awesome in the show.

*sniff sniff*

Daggeron.

-MORE NEW ZEALAND FOOTAGE!! :buttrock: I'm so happy that they reshoot some more New Zealand.

-Nick and his Mystical Cycle VS Monster car battle. That was frickin' awesome and I'm glad it's not that long at all.

BAD:

-No Leelee. (Well atleast Leelee disguese into Necrolai) >_>

-Koragg wasn't in action. Awww man!! Oh well.

-Zord battle = rushed. Oh blah.

Overall... 10/10.

Mystic Force is getting good so far this year and I hope it keeps that way. Also, I liked when they had to re-shot some more parts which it is from New Zealand. Again, I hope they keep that way to have more New Zealand in for action. So much better. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Magiranger. I absolutely love Magiranger.

So for next episode... Vampire episode and finally, Vida's focus and Chip. Houka's Vampire episodes plus Tsubasa, two-parters, both of them were FANTASTIC!!

*Grumbles complaits about how they changed Chip's "parents are dead" aspect from the original character description*

I wasn't really paying close attention...how'd they change that?

After the first view, which I admittedly wasn't paying much attention to (guitar interested me more than MF, heh), I'd give this episode about a 7. I'm not gonna vote until I watch it again, though. It wasn't bad for the most part...it just wasn't that good. I like that they're starting what might be an important story. I liked everything about Xander and Madison this episode. Chip was a bit overacted as usual, but he wasn't that bad overall. Vida might be my least favorite non-Justin/non-Sam character ever on the show.

I didn't really like the sudden Nick/Vida grouping, and I finally realized that I don't like Udonna's character. It was nice to not have Clare mess up a spell, but where was she? I got a really bad Boom vibe after that...kinda like how Boom basically fell off the face of the earth at one point in SPD.

Speaking of Boom...Phineas is AWESOME. If they keep up this kind of character for him and don't turn him into "har har slapstick comedyz" I'll be happy. Kelson's done an amazing job in both seasons so far.

True story about Toby: I have a 6 year old cousin who is just now getting into the PR craze, probably because, before moving, I gave him all of my old PR stuff. Anyway, while visiting, he asked me to wake up AT FREAKING 8 AM ON A SATURDAY!...and then to watch an episode of MF with him ("aaaaww!"). While watching said episode, Toby came on screen and he explained, and I quote, "That's human Piggy from SPD." The character, not the actor. Couple things about that - 1) He doesn't know I still watch the show, so how the hell would I know who Piggy was? 2) Holy hell is that kid perceptive. 3) Barnie Duncan is not displaying much range as an actor. I don't know whether or not to chalk that up to his acting ability or the crew's telling him to be a human Piggy. I like both characters (and any scene with Toby mentioning real rock gets about a million cool points from me), but bleh...

EDIT: Yeah, vampire eps are up next. I'm honestly dreading them. I loved them in Magi because Tsubasa could pull off the serious thing reasonably well, but I don't think any combination of Vida and Chip will result in something I'll like...Chip's probably gonna be REALLY CRAZY AND GOOFY (!) and Vida will continue acting in the manner she could have only learned from the WF cast...Eh, I'll give it a chance though.

First thing: This episode was freaking AMAZING. I voted 9. This was a great episode all around. I loved every bit of it.

Phineas... People are guessing he may be daggeron? Hm, it's a possibility. Or perhaps he has something to do with Daggeron. What if they threw a curveball and made Phineas the key to opening the gates of the Pit?

Phineas is a great character though. I love how he was written into the episode.

I don't have much to comment on really. It was great stuff. Shame we didn't get much Koragg and Morticon this week. But that's ok. We got some great Necrolai action.

They're setting up for next weeks episode and perhaps more than that. It's amazing. Im loving the effort for the bits of continuity. Some people are like "omg they arent fighting each other?". true they were at each others throats in the last couple episodes. What do you expect from them? They've lived together for years in a cramped pit. Sometimes they hate each other and sometimes they calm down and shrug it off.

I liked how the tension between them was seemingly calm. They may hate each other on some days but they still serve a master and have a goal to accomplish. And they work together to do so.

One thing I do love is how Necrolai goes down with the monsters and helps them. Reminds me of Goldar back in the day. Goldar always went with the monster and helped it out anyway he could. He worked as a team.

Necrolai does so as well. Fighting off the rangers, protecting the monster, getting things done. I like that.

I loved the part during the battle where Nick runs to tank the monster while the 4 rangers try and take on and defeat Necrolai. Good, silent battle strategy and excellent team work that didn't work out so good.

Anywho, maybe I will comment more later. Great episode.

Did anyone else notice that when the rangers posed on the cliff, they used the colorful explosion pose from the Japanese Opening theme. Kind of felt out of place but it was still kewl. Something I noticed the first time but it really stands out the more I watch the episode.

When Udonna was talking about the forest they had to travel through to get to the Fire Heart (going from memory):

Udonna: Just imagine your worst nightmare.

Chip: That's easy. My mom puts my cell phone through the dryer, and the next time we morph, my uniform is really tiny.

Red, you crack me up sometimes bro. Chill out. Remember what happend last time.

So another killer episode eh?, **downloading now**

I haven't had anticipation for Power Rangers episodes since Disney took over. Well except JDF's return of course.

It indicates that they're alive and according to the original character description, Chip's parents are dead and he lives with his farmer uncle.

Stuff about your relative and Toby

I think I might post this at RB the next time someone says 'Piggy and Toby are nothing alike' (assuming you don't mind).

It was in Magi 5 too and it stands as one of the most nonsensical shots I've ever seen in a Sentai. THEY WERE STANDING ON A CLIFF, then they weren't, then they were again! I cannot believe Toei let it through. Disney messed the editing too actually, watch the 'I'm over you!' (ugh) sequence closely. I noticed the problem the first time I watched it thanks to the slow-mo. It's no big deal though.

Necrolai and Koragg are two of the more vicious PR underlings that we've had in recent years.

Necrolai especially when two of the Hideaks got caught in the spider web.

I think it's great.

Fire Heart: You wanna a burnt filler with that?

As I read loads of review yesterday night and today, there were tons of review claiming that it WAS a great episode despite it's filler. Well, I say it's so-so, not a GREAT one.

Okay, so this guy finds this Fire Heart map that he wants to cash to a museum and get's taxi-napped, leaving the map behind. At the Rock Porium, Xander continues to be an ass by forcing slavery in the shop as well as Toby's comment "born leader" that goes into his big empty head of his. As trouble brews up, Nick and Vida run in their "capes" in the OUTSIDE WORLD...now that's fucked up.

Nice to see the reference of "Identity issues" in canon terms of PR. Did we really need to know about Chip living with his parents. That's another minus, course the press does say everything wrong don't they? (i.e Omega as an alien life force...more like force force.)

Xander's assitude continues to go to cringe mode as he claims to be the smarty of the group. He's no aniki, but he really has this love for forrests that makes you wanna say.."BrokeBack Forests?" Breastcolai and her hidiacs search for the fireheart as well and ger ambushed by a giant web. Courtesy of Spider-Man.

More Nick and Vida, more phineas, more kalished explosions, more motro, more everthing that crams your head into thinking..if MF sucks or rocks. Lots of issues with this one. First, the taxi driver. In the beginning, he's on the left, but in the battle, he's on the right..the fucking right. Same thing that happened to that god-damn truck in Shadow Pt. II.

So how was it? It was a filler for fucks sake. It was a boring one indeed, as most of the MF eps are now. Be it the quest or Phineas' role, the episode sucked as hard as nails. Vida continues to be a dislike, Nick's a dumbass, Xander and Chip are queer and Maddy's....alright.

Next week, PR pays a visit to Carlos and the count mixed with Song of confusion. And it's a two parter...joy

You're not a true Power Rangers fan, you imbecile.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. Stay away from Power Rangers.
