Power Rangers MegaForce, Ep 08 - "Robo Knight"

It's kind of good that you haven't noticed much of what I/we have. At least you've enjoyed what you watched for the most part. I critique on a power ranger level, but also on just an overall show/film level; and in the past PR has made mistakes that can't just be excused because "it's Power Rangers", when the problems are in fact deeper than that from just a TV show point of view. There are somethings you just don't **** up with when in this industry, especially in a franchise of it's stature. Inexcusable.

Understood. And I'm not even saying you're wrong; you're not, its your opinion and your right to view it that way/look for such things. Its just that personally I factor in the fact that its a kids' show first and foremost before even beginning the critiques. Had this been something aimed at my age group, I'd probably look for it myself and notice it. I think the closest I came was when I watched Shinkenger first and then Samurai. It bugged me that Saban copied storylines verbatim, but I recognize that's not a complaint, say, a 6 year old would have.

I guess the Rangers will always wear the same outfit to school. This is ridiculous. Remember when Tommy became the Black Dino Ranger and he said he needed to go shop for black clothes? Well seeing the Rangers wear the same outfits in every episode is going to make that quote embarrassing now. Lol...But yeah, it's so soon to see Robo Knight already. His voiceover is not bad though. I like it.

Disney's casting was on point for the first 3 seasons, and was still ok after that, yes; but they incredibly lazy in terms of overall quality after SPD. Sounds were reused, bgm was reused, battleizers were stranger and forced, random bikes were given to a random ranger for a random reason, exploding boxes, crummy NZ weather (which surprisingly has been better with Samurai and Megaforce. Though, if im not mistaken Saban made it a point to shoot in better locations) limited amount of locations, reused locations, fast forwarded morphs, wire-fu, long winded fight scenes, lack of characterization...there was a lot bro.

I'll cram all of this in one paragraph. Saban's Power Rangers reused background music aswell. I've heard PRiS music in PRLG, I've heard PRLR music in PRTF. Locations being reused is common even in Sentai. Disney had nothing to do with what the battlizers or those special bikes (which are exclusive to one team member) look like, they merely take what Bandai of America made and use it. Hell, PRJF, and PRRPM battlizers had toys, but were never used on the show due to budget reasons.

I agree, the bikes introductions were random. Especially the one in PROO where it had no relevance and the Ranger it was given to wasn't even the focus.

Disney may have been cheaper, it's at least better than how Nickelodoen treats Power Rangers. Breaking seasons in half and calling them two seperate seasons is a bad idea. By the time we get to Kyoryuger, most of the props would be destroyed. Goseiger and Gokaiger are crammed into one season soley because it's the 20th anniversary, Gokaiger had to be the season, and Goseiger needs to be done due to their contract.
