Power Rangers MegaForce, Ep 06 - "Harmony and Dizchord"

They haven't been heavily deriving from the Sentai though. It's the same problem as Samurai they're taking some and leaving some, but not in a good way like old Saban used to do.

They'll take Goseiger's plots, but lack any explanation for what is going on, because they don't want to use the Sentai reasoning. The thing is...Saban has no reasoning -__-. They make dumb excuses like "We were closer, so it affected us more" or "I love nature, but hey let throw something in there like..Oh, hey! BMX..just to be "different" from GoseiPink".

They should either go hard, or no how to integrate both Sentai and PR correctly.

I would have loved to see, the rangers come from another world composed of guardians who spend their lives protecting us, becoming stuck on our planet, and having to get used to our customs...rather than Gosei going...you BMX? Sweet. You play soccer? Nice, I used to kick the ball around when I had limbs back in my day; you know math? good ****, you're yellow; You're a black nerd? Let's gOOo! That red V-neck is beast, alright you'll be the next Red Ranger, everybody good? Good.

As odd as it sounds.. adapting Gosei's story and building on it would have been more original than high school students...with barely any attitude..

I...don't think the reason for "being closer" is so bad at all. I mean, it perfectly makes sense.

How about we do another example....if a bomb goes off, whose most likely to have their ear drums get affected badly? The ones closer to the explosion, or the ones.....hundreds of feet away. I think it's pretty obvious what the answer is here.

Also, yeah, prolly not the best example, but its the only one I can think of right now that can affect your ear drums as far as I know.

It caused some unintentional horror.

If Troy and Emma were that effected by Dizchord's music because they were closer to the city plaza than the other Power Rangers, what was it like for the civilians who were actually at the city plaza?

The Sandy Hook revelation/theory is new to me, and I haven't had the chance to watch the Sentai (I have it, just haven't watched it). But, as far as this ep goes...I mean Vrak did give a reason for why he was wearing that armor.

"This armor protects me against that ridiculous music!"

How that many people missed that...especially when it was during a scene when he was kicking the Rangers' collective asses...I don't know.

If they skipped an episode, ok, but this talk about the armor is strange to me. It may not be an awesome mindblowing reason, but it is a reason, and it was spoken onscreen.

If it was doing what Samurai did, the five of them would be mooching in some random professor's house with some just as random kid; not attending high school.

Two of the villains would also have some original love story, just for the hell of it.

Only reason people seem to be upset over the whole armor deal is "Ahhh, that "Earth armor" is his Yuumajuu outfit; we're only in the Warstar arc! Saban can't move scenes around, it's konfuzing!"

My god...All this Megaforce is lowering your standards! Quick we need to detox him with 20cc's of RPM stat!!!

Also the Sandy Hook thing. I see where this is going with some of you. Guys it's a rumor not a reason let's take it with a grain of salt.

That's why I asked if there were any episodes of Goseiger that could reasonably be considered "too similar" to attacks on schools/children, that could have been filmed/intended to be filmed. If we could find an episode like that, then it may lend credibility to the rumor.

'Harmony And Dizchord' is a decent episode. The bad guys send down a monster who played music that caused pain in most humans. Of course, there were humans who enjoyed it, but they would remain nameless. It was Emma's singing that allowed the rangers to defeat him. Then, he grew into a giant, and we get another Megazord battle. The monster get destroyed, and Ernie emptied his store by playing (and enjoying) that horrible music. :coolshades:

This episode was okay only. It wasn't bad nor was it good. There was a huge error with the lip syncing from Emma's singing during the battle though. You can see how far off it was. I also thought the need for flying petals to flow during that sequence was random too.

Ha this episode sucked for Megaforce, but the fight while Emma sung was funny. This felt like what would happen if Samurai had a "meh" episode, maybe I shouldn't watch Gokaiger at the same time. I get Jaded
