I really hope the Legendary War is more original footage than sentai one. If i want to see Sentai footage then i just watch Gokaiger.

It's highly possible that a Goranger-Jetman team exist in the PR universe, but we haven't seen them because they're off fighting on other planets. Hell, they're could even be a Dairanger team. MMPR Season 2 could of gotten their own set of Alien Rangers who never got their own tv show.

The original will always exist so stop complaining about a forthcoming season you haven't seen yet. Its like how I bitched about Gekiranger because of its suits, but it was mindblowingly amazing. [or at least the episodes I seen and read of]
Anyways, wouldn't it be awesome to expand the universe in a way that is different from the Sentai? Its not honoring the Sentai, but c'mon. Gokaiger was rather dry other than for its transformation factor. You can pretty much turn Goseiger and Gokaiger into anything you want and no one would care because they weren't that mindblowing or interesting.
I wish Saban was like the production team behind South Park and didn't give a damn about whiney groups because Megaforce would've been a highly hilarious ,batshit insane series. C'mon. Yeah that's all magical and **** but it's not so much Saban wanting to expand the universe as it's them finding a cheap way to use more of the Legend War footage without having to hide the Sentai teams. This is the 20th anniversary of Power Rangers not Sentai. We already have 20 years worth of continuity we don't need a bunch of new rangers coming out of nowhere "just cause." Who cares if there are other Rangers on other planets? That's something that's been a possibility since season 3 but it means nothing because we've never heard their stories. We don't have any attachment to them whatsoever. It's not like it's the Power Rangers teaming up with Jetman it's the Power Rangers teaming up with a bunch of guys in bird suits I know nothing about...
And if their used outside of the War like Japanese footage of Gokai Changes involving these old Sentai's well then...that's another rant for another time...

We have no evidence that this is anything other than an way for them to sell more cards, not anything in the show. I played the Harry Potter card game, which was very obviously based on the movies over the books, and there were cards of book-specific things, so that they could make more expansion sets.
