Yea, it didn't really cross my mind, but thinking about it now it really is a disappointment. Not because they couldn't invite more rangers, but more specifically to Rhett because he had the first original suit. I figure his character uniqueness should have put him on high priority as well.

Why not? They most probably can film new footage for the series because the fight scenes are like 3-5 minutes and for Gokaiger, even less. They can pretty much change it up as needed since the changes aren't that long at all. I just hope they rid of the Silver armor for something less dumb and more of a battlizer that is a combination of them. If they can make six new suits for Megazord footage, they can mostly afford to film new footage with different suits and whatnot. Aren't they doing a combo of S2 and Zeo no?
Most probably, Toei has filmed footage left over unused for Gokaiger much like the shot of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers lineup [five Zyu and Kibaranger] was changed for something else, if they keep that footage... and Titanium Ranger isn't an exception.
I'll be surprised if they have the JF original trio of rangers myself as ranger keys.
