Power Rangers Hexagon-Amit Speaks

The only idea I don't like is the "Dark Yellow" ranger. The Shogun Megazord idea worked because Tommy was able to pass down the White Shogunzord down to Kimberly/Katherine in the same manner Taylor was able to pass down the Polar Bear and Black Bear Wildzords to Max and Alyssa.

Only idea I don't like is Tommy becoming the ultimate bad guy in the end unintentionally.

If they're going to have a final throw down, I want it against someone that I have no forgiveness for and want to see destroyed.

As much as I would have liked this, I can see Saban completely screwing the concept up.
In the context of 'this is the last season, screw it,' I think they might have come close to transferring the awesome-ness from paper to screen. RPM flies in the face of most Disney seasons, but exists 'cause it was the end and they were told to swing for the fence.

...I'm okay with Hexagon never happening though. I'm content with Dino Thunder.

Wasn't RPM the way it was only because it was supposedly meant to air on Disney XD?

Hmm...I remember reading something different about Hexagon. IIRC, the rebels were to be lead by the Phantom Ranger as orders from a higher force than the Rangers themselves. And the Phantom Ranger was the creator of the Ninja Storm powers, but was taken from Tommy after thinking that they were the key sources for the formation of the Hexagon. That was supposed to be what sparked the Ranger Civil War.

Of course, I could have read some weird fanfic that also had the name Hexagon in it. Or, maybe, Amit Bhumik could have mentioned Hexagon before and forgotten to mention some details when he was asked about it again.

If I remember correctly, there wasn't even going to be a 17th season, but the ball had already rolled far enough with the toy line that they went ahead and produced a final season (co-funded by Jetix UK).

...You are aware Amit wrote episodes of Wild Force that were compeltly non-dependent on the Sentai source material, and that only one of his Samurai episodes he did was a translation right ?(the other two were clip shows with original stories)

Which ones? I would like to watch those for a reference because the way it was said, I just assumed the worst. Well I looked it up and yeah, I did like the WF-TF crossover , but Forever Red was OK.

I did like Wild Force and NS after the reruns hit , but the Samurai episodes he wrote were the worst ones in the season respectively in my opinion. If he does anything for Megaforce , I hope to see what he can do beyond a few episodes here and there if Hexagon was any indication.

The Yellow Ranger would have to be axed simply unless they went out of their away to make more megazord footage to replace and supplement Hurricanger's. I wonder if the episode-long megazord battles would have been maintained had this occurred rather than cut down.
