Writing around which actors they could get back would've been tricky, I imagine. I wonder if any part of this will be incorporated into the Gokaiger adaptation.

Writer? He just lifted the Japanese stories and translated them...which doesn't take a ton of effort. Since he also wrote two series I really don't like, unless he did do the better work in those shows.

If those two are any indication, I'm not so sure I would like the Hexagon concept unless it was done in tandem with a mix of ideas from Ninja Storm on, though to be honest, a yellow Beetle Ranger? I take it would be the Ladybug/Tentou ?

It should be re-attempted , just with the latest seasons as the prominent backbone alongside Tommy as the leader because its a missed opportunity that would do better here than with the past. There was far less to work with and now, in contrast, there are twenty years. IN fact, Goseiger would have been the best to really experiment with that concept since it not only embodied MMPR aesthetically, the ranger rivalry between the two tribes and the initial story concepts of Goseiger were begging for this sort of thing. But overall, it can be redone with any series, so perhaps they'll do this with Gobusters?

I don't really know how I feel about this. It sounds like it would have been on a grand scale. You got your past rangers, in depth story-line, and intense action; but I feel like Saban's problem and even now till this day is trying to connect everything. It's not necessarily a bad thing but the way they try to convey it is off-putting.

So if this were to truly come about, the Ninja-Storm team would have been more or less a militaristic team. Why..all because Tommy dropped racing, and wanted to try being a political figure/Army general instead. lol what? And the whole robotic sanctions will be part of Archerina's crew, organic will be part of Scorpina's; why? They had they're time. These are people, places, and things that don't really need to be involved.

On the other hand a clean up, of unresolved story-lines and loose-ends was and still is much needed.

I wonder how they'd be able to integrate the other Yellow Ranger into the mix, because unlike the Titanium Ranger which luckily for GoGoV had an extra mech to spare, Hurricanger had no such thing. Sure it didn't stop the Shogun Megazord, but ultimately, it would be off-putting for an extra ranger to appear and not have zord footage to accompany her unless its made and they integrate a potential Tentouzord/Goraitento into the Gouraijin as an extra....but would that be worth it?

They could have worked the story out and made Tommy less political and went for another more suitable one, but its kind of on line for Ninja Storm to be militaristic, being ninja and all.

...You are aware Amit wrote episodes of Wild Force that were compeltly non-dependent on the Sentai source material, and that only one of his Samurai episodes he did was a translation right ?(the other two were clip shows with original stories)

Concept wise it actually sounds kind of cool.

Two teams of Rangers being at odds with each other. That idea alone sounds interesting to me.
