I went to see this, because I was expecting damn awesome things from Pixar, and I was not disappointed.
The Pixar short "Partly Cloudy" is jammed with great sight gags and fun characters.
The opening montage has very little speech(it's not even dialogue because the main character doesn't speak until after the montage.) but even without it, you can feel every emotion. And believe me, it's a roller coaster like so: Happiness-Love-Contentment-Hopefulness-Sadness-Recovery-Contentment then a Gutpunch at the end. If you watch this part of the movie without crying, you have no soul.
When you finally get to the "Billions of Balloons lifting the house away" segment, you will be struck dumb by how awesome it is. And the adventures in the balloon-borne bungalow are top notch.
I won't say much more, except that there's a duel in the dinosaur fossil room of an airship, squeaky bone controlled aircraft, and a scene that somehow crushes your soul and lifts it up to pierce the heavens in the same instance.
Go see Up. Go see it three times. Never see it alone. Watch it with someone you love, or someone you're crushing on. You will come out of it a better person, and the relationship you have with whoever you watched it with will be strengthened.
