Anyway

- Yamabiko's plan has two big flaws: one, if Yakumo/Nagi/Kasumi called Fuuka before the Youkai called Taka or Fuuka, his plan is pretty much ruined. And two, the plan centers around hoping that Fuuka would act exactly like Taka

- .........why are they start calling each other using codenames when the battle is pretty much over? All of them are there ready to perform the finisher, they never need the codenames at that point......

- I don't understand why Dumpmaru and Byunmaru are affected by the sonic wave. I can understand the ones based on living creatures, even though Shinobimaru is humanoid, but Dumpmaru and Byunmaru are based on vehicles. They don't even have ears.

- Wanmaru finally has a use

- I love the use of instrumental version of Shurikenjin's theme.

- Dat ending. Best scene so far for those two, and we actually gets to see a REAL serious Taka for once.

Next episode seems to be interesting - a Youkai took control of Rodeomaru.

After Yakumo-Kinji in the magic episode, Nagi-Kinji in the sport festival episode, and now Fuuka-Kinji in this episode, I think it's safe to say the next episode will have a Kasumi-Kinji interaction. Especially with how Kasumi and Rodeomaru are both the focus of the preview.

So that means sometimes soon in the future we'll have a non-battle interaction between Taka & Kinji. Unless I missed it, I don't think that has happened.

Serious Taka threw me off. It's cool, but because of he acts in almost every episode, it doesn't feel right.
Also, I can't believe Yakumo, Nagi, and Kasumi would just give up their shurikens to Taka that easily without a proper explanation.

This show just wants to be fun, and it's succeeding greatly at that. I love the camp factor, the cheese-induced acting and fantastic action. Starninger is hilarious. Also the villains of the week (like the phone monster in this episode) are just great. I'm really liking this show.

especially Kasumi. She's usually the brightest of them all.

Yeah, I think that's the whole point. Starninger's selfies never fail to make me smile, too.

Plus, this episode feels like a PSA for kids to not just trust people who call you on the phone.

The scenes in the dojo are so 90s. Starninger vs. Takaharu is like Ranma vs Genma/Ryoga/Happosai in the Tendo Dojo or Aeka vs. Ryoko in the Masami home. Fighting all over while Nabiki/Washu (Kasumi), Kasumi/Sasami (Fuuka), Soun/Tenchi (Yakumo) and Miyoshi/Akane (Nagi) are going about their usual lives.

Nin 14:

- Is the fact that everyone now treats Starninger trying to kill them all so casually... supposed to be funny? Because it's not. People trying to kill you is not funny.

- I don't know, I prefer the scolding older sibling to the scolding younger sibling.

- Didn't we just go through this Kinji backstory the last episode? Granted nit's Fuuka instead of Nagi this time, but this feels like a rehash of last week.

- What's Yamabiko so panicked about? Couldn't he just hide and have the grunt disguise itself as the "relation"?

- BisonKing was pointless today.

- The last scene was better than anything else in this episode. Taka's much more likable when he's serious.
