Power Rangers is a screwed up version of super sentai, in MY opinion, any american-ized japanese shows are completely bullshit (Kamen Rider Dragon Knight's story board, i already hate it)

That's also why I have absolutely nothing to say about the Americanized Gransazer/Zodiak Guardians/whatever in Canada. There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said.

SBTB? what is that show? Kids Inc. and MMC are unheard of in my country. Regarding Hannah's voice, it's natural, no errors. in-jokes or downlow sex comments? Ever when since Zack and Cody (or, for that matter, Maddie and London) talked about it?
HEHEHEHE.... this is almost fun. if you said the kids are ugly, I can't even tell Zack from Cody. I just digusted myself upon learning that Ashley Tisdale is 21.

well, yes and no, all the disney and other versions that are not of SABAN are crap, i love the zeo turbo and space power rangers, the mighty morphin its was screw up because the actors change a lot and also the colour of the power rangers, for example, tommy (jason david frank) was first evil and green, and after it was good and white ranger, and changes like that but like every 2 episodes, but at the end, it was cool. i hate the end of the power rangers in space, and i stop watching the power rangers forever, only one or 2 episodes of lightspeed rescue, lost galaxy and time force, but it was crap anyways, and btw, disney owns pixar, i read that somebody says something like "thats why we have pixar" or something like that

Disney has had very few original ideas in ANY area of their company for a long time, and even when their films were good they weren't usually original stories....

Esp. The Lizzie McGuire Movie, one of my faves, the only Disney Channel original show that was made into a bigscreen film. I wish Phil of the Future have one too:bawling:

I was talking about the animated films from the mid 20th century, when the company still had a lot of heart in it, even though the ideas were not really their own. Admittedly I don't really follow the current Disney programming, and haven't for some time, so I can't really speak about the current films aside from saying they don't seem overly appealing to me.

If you don't like mediocrity how in the world are you still a fan of the recent Sentai and Rider shows neither of whom are anywhere CLOSE to being as good as they may once have been?
I mean Toei is a master of recycling plots, costumes, ideas and talent throughout their productions.
In general, Neither Disney nor Toei are alone in practicing recycling. Virtually every network or every show does. Even shows that start out 'fresh' every year like the Real World, recycle the same cliche stereotypes every year.
And the reason they do is because it works. People keep watching it, they keep talking about the shows and thats all that matters to them.

My quote about Pixar has next-to-nothing to do with Power Rangers or Super Sentai. But if you're in the animation community, you'd know that Pixar is Disney's only hope. Pixar is making their best movies, dammit! It doesnt' matter that Disney owns Pixar. Pixar is still Pixar. They make their own decisions.
What the hell--!? You've probably been here long enough to know that I'm NOT a fan of the newer Super Sentai and Masked Rider shows! But to be fair, that doesn't mean they deserve to be Americanized. That's only half of what killed my interest in newer Super Sentai. I don't like the newer Masked Rider shows because they've become a big sell-out. It's, like, not Masked Rider anymore, but Metal Heroes under a different name. But again, that doesn't mean I want it to be Americanized. Hey, girls in America will most certainly dig the pretty boy characters!
I still stand by what I said. Power Rangers has become a bandwagon. A bandwagon for mediocrity. I have some fans trying to coax me into watching the newer Power Rangers shows, hoping that I'd be "surprised." There's a reason I gave up watching it. One reason is this whole bandwagon mentality that all tokusatsu must be presented in the US the same exact mediocre way.
The day that happens will be the day when I stop enjoying tokusatsu. I'm not looking forward to it.
