Revisiting Classic Disney: Which Film Holds Up the Best for You?

[San Goku]

I recently sat down to rewatch some classic Disney animated films, and I was blown away by how well they hold up. "The Lion King" still gives me chills, and the animation is just as stunning now as it was in the '90s. But then I thought about "Beauty and the Beast" and how it was the first animated film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. It's fascinating to see how these films blend nostalgia with timeless storytelling.

I would love to know: which classic Disney film do you think still shines the brightest today? Do you have a favorite scene or song from it? Let's share our favorites and see which one gets the most love!

I totally agree about "The Lion King", that movie has some of the most iconic visuals and music to date! The opening sequence with "Circle of Life" is pure magic, and the animation during that stampede scene still gives me chills. I also have a soft spot for "Mulan." The way they blend tradition with action is so well done, plus "Reflection" is a standout song for sure.

With Disney playing with nostalgia in their latest releases, I wonder how they'll reinterpret these classics in the future. Any predictions for which film might get a live-action treatment next?
