i thought you were going to sell your dx medals and keep the premium ones unless that was someone else? as for showing the arcade worker a core medal, that's cool

I was going to sell my DX medals, but I changed my mind, lol. Right now I have the Premium Medals in the Medal Case instead of the DX ones, because portability rocks. The box the set came in is huge, not sure if I can take it back to America with me or not T___T

And yeah, the free cards thing was pretty cool. Apparently the promotion started on the 15th, but I didn't see anything about it at the local mall. I had to go to the one closer to the train station (a good 45 minute bike ride away >.<) and I discovered it :3

Anyway, camera's almost finished charging. So I'm just gonna post a video review since I was able to find my real camera instead of having to use the crappy camera on my iPhone for pics/vids >__< (I'll do the Medal review at the beginning, cause I'm just gonna make a vid for my toy haul and post it in the toy haul thread too, so I'll keep it short and sweet on the medal reviews XD)

don't forget to use macro mode if you're going to take close up shots for photographing and video recording

My camera is really being stupid >.> Macro mode didn't wanna work right, and when I was half-way finished recording, it died again =/ I think I need a new battery. I'm just gonna record with my iPhone (even though I know it'll be crap) because I wanna hurry up and get this review finished. I'll let my camera charge for a few hours and try and get a HD version put up later today. So for now, iPhone recording start!

you should have recorded it in widescreen. i assume your iphone is a 3gs? it's all good. also, you pronounced your username correctly. most people cannot pronounce chevalier correctly. they say it as shei-va-li-er. lol.

not too bad a review. if you can, think you can open up one of them to see what's truly inside? it looks like they may have used a silver cardboard behind the plastic to prevent the chips from showing. that's how they did the core medal swings (there's no chips in these).

those cell medals are beautiful. i wouldn't mind owning them all. the core medals are alright but i don't think i would want them. the ganbaride cards are cool. if only they did this with W. deck box is cool too

Yeah, I didn't think about doing widescreen until I was already finished >.<;; And yeah, I noticed a lot of people have no idea how to pronounce chevalier at all...just glad I'm one of the ones who know how to say it right

I would open one up, but I don't have a screwdriver and I don't wanna buy one just to open it up, lol. You'll have to wait till next month when I'm back in America for that. I've never seen one of the medal swings before Do you have a link to it, they sound really interesting~

The whole thing is beautiful. After I ordered it, I was wondering if I'd regret spending that much money on one toy set, but it was definitely worth it. =D I'm gonna get my fiancee to go to the arcade on Wednesday and get me another set of ganbaride cards, so I can have one set unopened too~ >.>

i bought a core medal swing. they're cool and have high detail but the gold rims can wear off so beware of that if you buy it. they're a 7-11 exclusive. see if you can get some before you come back. here is a video i made awhile ago. shachi FTW!

Holy crap those are awesome. I have one of the metal cell medal swings (Tricera) I definitely have to find some of those, although I'm not sure if any of the local 7-11 have them anymore or not. Definitely going to go search for them tomorrow
