Well I finished Splash Star a few weeks ago and it wasn't too bad ~ I think I would appreciate it more if I had saw the original 2 series cuz I think I woulda gotten more out of this if I had a comparison to go with..... but Mai is really awesome ^_^ and I loved Michiru and Karou, heck its the reason why I decided to watch this first before the previous 2.

Once again with the r-slur. There are so many words to describe your disappointment for something that isn't a slur against people with mental disabilities.
I found myself pausing before the final for the first series and couldn't continue. I'm restarting it all with two episodes per weekday, taking mental notes on the characters.

Do a review of it then. And I stand by what I said.
I like the part though where they go, "...What did I just say?!" type of moments. It's one of those "it comes naturally, but I never knew about it" type of thing instead of "it comes naturally" and that's it.

I'm not critiquing that you were disappointed in the episode. I'm critiquing you expressing it with a abelist slur when you could have used any other word (i.e. disappointing, confusing, dull, unimpressive, etc.).

While Futariwa isn't anywhere as good as HC or Fresh, I still think it was an alright series. Thought I didn't watch it like mad when I watched Fresh and HC, it actually took me a span of a few weeks to watch it, and only 3 ep.s a day or I would slip into the realm of lower intellect =/
