I dont find him menacing honestly. I just... I dont know, I just dont enjoy the character. He's just a big muscle dude, I dont really find him interesting.

RiderFaiz says he is much better in the comics and probally in this movie as well and not just a big retard like in Batman & Robin. So I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Wha? Bane isn't "all-muscle", he's one of Batman's most intelligent enemies.

Hopefully so, since it's kind of vague what Bane he's exactly talking about since the menacing adjective in the post before him was attached to the Dark Knight Rises Bane.

One thing is 4sure. This Bane looks pretty fucking scary. Kinda like a Cobra Commander (movie ver) meets Hannibal Lecter.

Yeah, I'm definitely getting a Hannibal Lecter vibe, specially considering they're both geniuses. The way Bats was staggering in the trailer kind of hints that he's in for a tough fight.

Indeed, I hope Nolan can bring that notion into the film. Comic Bane was intelligent and dangerous, I still think it was pretty awesome and scary at the same time when he broke Batman's back in the comic. When even Ra's Al Ghul admit that you're a goddamn genius, you gotta be one.

Yeah, looks like Batman is going to be getting a bigger SmackDown than Joker or Liam Neeson could ever lay on him.

One thing I am interested in is to see if at the conclusion of this film if it is mentioned if/how Batman actually re-captured all of the Arkahm inmates that were freed in the first film by Scarecrow.

Well this will really be hist first combat challenge.

The other 2 movies were more about his intellect, but now not only is the guy on par with him intellectually, but also physically too.

Kinda reminds me of Oleg Kirrlov, whos not only INCREDIBLY strong (Like car lifting strong) but can also checkmate you in 3 moves.
