Rumor..... bleh... I think Bruce said it clearly enough that if he did screw up the budget then he wouldn't have been hired again.

What I'm guessing is that Disney doesn't want to fly the SPD Rangers in and wants to cut a corner on a team-up they just don't feel is important.
