It's what Disney wants. They drove up to the Ranger Productions order window and said "32 episodes, please."

Rumor..... bleh... I think Bruce said it clearly enough that if he did screw up the budget then he wouldn't have been hired again.

What I'm guessing is that Disney doesn't want to fly the SPD Rangers in and wants to cut a corner on a team-up they just don't feel is important.

They felt it important to do two team-ups with no JDF in the latter, you could of course argue they had a plausible excuse to use Tommy-in-a-suit, but something sure stinks about this, they brought back the principle Rangers for those episodes, took the effort and whatnot, what prevents it this time? Hence, the budget issues come up again, and the person behind them.

Rome was'nt built in a day, and Dave Peckpinpah stayed with Sliders to the bitter end

Mystic Force is the lamest series to date, and it doesnt even deserved to be in the presence of SPD's greatness, just like Wild Force didn't deserve to be in Ninja Storm's.

Just add "Batman Forever was awesome too!" and this is the quote of the month.

Well Im blaming bruce but I duno whos fault it was. But the reason theres no teamup IS apparently budget ran out. Bruce had a teamup planned but it was cancelled when there wasnt enough funds.

Disney cut PR's budget this season and thus production was reduced to 32 eps....

Really, I don't think that Bruce "threw away all t3h money!", but more of a Disney... "Hey.... I don't wanna this year. I'd rather keep the money."

And for some reason, this year.... I don't mind.

Is anyone else bothered by this news?

Yes. Recent teamups (both Sentai and PR) have been relatively poor and I was hoping to see MF redeem the concept. Now I'll have to wait until next year's Bouken vs. Magi and that might be crap too.:disappoin

Not really that bothered, the crossovers are only as good as their neccesity to wrap up plot threads not resolved in the season, and Dinothunders' crossovers were completly unnecersary.

I'm more bothered that Bruce is going to be the subject of back and fourth defense and prosecution the likes of which will reduce Rangerboard to a new L&W spin-off.

Shut up! Law and Order is betta than Doctor Who. Also FK, Thrift is right, SPD is too good to **** with Mystic Force and its lameless. Also, Batman Forever was more entertaining than BR.
