Nightmare On Elm Street Remake Is Coming Alive

*Sarcastically* Great, a remake. Even when Robert Englund does come back as Freddy, this remake is gonna blow chunks.

I'm not a horror movie fan, but... Isn't it enough that they've already ruined Halloween and (from the looks of it) Friday the 13th?!?!

This one had so much trouble getting off the ground, I was hoping the plans to remake it would just fall through.

All these horror remakes are the same. Bad CGI kills, shaky cam, a seven foot tall bodybuilder will play a silent Freddy, the cast will contain at least one person from a reality show and Elisha Cuthbert...*sigh*

Nightmare isn't the kind of movie you want to remake, seriously. Even if it doesn't end up totally blowing, I can guarantee that they'll miss the point. The Hollywood Horror Remake Machine only has one setting, and that's "dark, glossy, 'realistic' slasher with some girl whispering followed by a jumpy moment at the end of the trailer." It's kind of like the fact that they're remaking Night of the Demons; these kind of movies are about fun, which is something the film industry doesn't understand anymore. Epic fail.

Dude, you really fell for it.

It's Photoshopped! It's a joke! There's no way a real remake of Blade Runner would reuse the original's poster like that.

Well, I've never seen the original poster, so I have no idea if that was real or not. But, given a closer look, it is indeed fake.
