31 owners, Packers are publicly ownedIt's not totally the commissioner's fault though. It's more on the 32 team owners when I was watching sportscenter. They don't want to pay the referees.
I didn't watch the game, but I saw the recap on espn. But that was terrible officiating.
Yeah I'm sure the debacle has embarrassed the NFL so much that they have finally caved in and made a deal with the real referees. Finally! It took that hail mary play to make this all happen. I never thought I would be so happy to see the real refs. Now we can enjoy the games with real legit calls and not phantom interference calls or granting Coaches timeouts. Lol...I wonder about the details of this deal though to see who caved in or just agreed to whatever deal.
The lockout dispute between the league and the refs was ultimately over the ref's pension plans.........which the league's owners didn't wanna give to the refs anymore.
But judging by some of the few details of the newly tentative agreement, the league granted the refs to retain their pension plans.
So in other words, THE NFL FUCKED CAVED B/C THEY FINALLY REALIZED HOW FUCKING STUPID THEY WERE FOR ALLOWING DUMBASS REPLACEMENTS TO OFFICIATE THIS GAME INSTEAD OF COMING TO CIVIL AGREEMENT WITH THE PROFESSIONALS
So to that Roger Goodell, here is my message to you for this entire debacle :loltongue:![]()
1 point...
The Pats lost by 1 point... I'm still thinking that was stupid.
