[NEWS] [MMPRv2] ABC Kids airing schedule

Well, straight from BurgundyRanger is the info on the ABC scheduling for the reairing of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

The info just arrived. They're numbering the episodes as if it were a new season. They're calling them 18xx ... (on my site and here, they would be numbered 20xx since I don't recognize Disney's adjustment when it took over, thinking it needed to compensate for PRiS having ep #s starting with 6 AND 7, then PRLG eps starting with 8 and 9). But they're not 20xx for me. They're not new.

But, MMv2 is going in the original episode number order. There are two "new" episodes in the first three weeks, then it settles into a repeat-at-12, 'new'-at-12:30 cycle.

It starts the day after New Year's:

Sat Jan 2 -- 12:00 Day of the Dumpster; 12:30 High Five
Sat Jan 9 -- 12:00 Teamwork; 12:30 A Pressing Engagement
Sat Jan 16 -- 12:00 Different Drum; 12:30 Food Fight

Some of these haven't been seen in YEARS and weren't part of PRG/BoPR. I can't check right now, but if someone wants to comb through the PROAC pages and check that while I'm out, feel free!

As far as ep numbers, do you think "101r" for a remastered Day of the Dumpster would be OK?

Transformers "fifth season" was nothing but reruns in addition to a syndicated five-part version of Transformers: The Movie.

According to Mr. "Go Go Power Rangers" himself, Disney's contractually obligated to keep the original music intact.

Little known fact about MMPR--in the UK and other European countries, censors wouldn't let them use the word "power" for some reason, so they had to change the name to "Mighty Morphin Hero Rangers."
