I really wish they kept the voice actors from Animated for most of the roles of the Transformers in exception to Prime and Megatron. In fact, Animated should've gotten three more seasons because if Bumblebee keeps on making his retard beeps , than I'll stop watching. Didn't he get his speech back in the first film anyways? Seems too soon to end such a great series...

While the visuals are the best, I wish this was a remake of Beast Wars or something different for a change. Why don't they just tap into the Japanese G1 ideas and use those for a trilogy if not the ankles themselves ?

Caught the first episode on youtube. There's something about Prime's faceplate down face that REALLY bugs me...Soundwave's voice also bugs me, though I love his design.

The voice acting I find is okay? And so far, I'm having fun with it.

Agreed. Not to mention his mouth... It's so young looking and it doesn't fit his voice. They should like put in an extra detail to at least fit his elder role.

Soundwave's voice also bugs me, though I love his design.

Soundwave's voice? He didn't speak in either episode, just re-played a snippet of Arcee's conversation with Cliffjumper for Starscream (albeit with a signature Soundwave vocoder over it), and remained silent in all other appearances. Oddly enough, it's fooled enough people into thinking Prime's Soundwave is actually female.

So far the show looks promising, with a distilled but fresh take on many of the tropes and qualities of past franchises, all rolled into one (namely G1, Films, Animated, with a hint of the Beast Era shows for writing style). It's pretty interesting that Arcee is actually getting so much focus considering the character's past treatment, though the blue colour scheme is probably connected with that. The voice acting seems pretty much up to par, and although Jeffrey Combs and Steven Blum seemed a bit like odd choices for their roles they certainly work quite well in action.

I look forward to see how things play out, though it must be a real headache for TFWiki editors now to try to figure out three different stories/entries (Prime [the show], War For Cybertron [the game], Exodus [the novel]) with similar elements and chronologies, that apparently may or may not be in the same "continuity," despite massive inconsistencies between the lot of them.

"Darkness Rising" apparently airs all this week @ 6:30 EST; the full series starts next February.

Just watched the new episode... So, it's a mix for TF Engergon (humans), TF Animated, Bayformers, and G1.... It was an okay episode... Decepticon grunts are called pawns.

New Transformers Series...it's all right. That new series doesn't floored me by wow yet, but I'll be keep watching.
