Then I'm guessing you're in the dark about House of M, too?

Kinda. I know of it. I know it wasn't as well handled as IC from what I hear. I also know it left the MU with only 198 mutants. Meaning probably only ones we've seen already. Basically killing that kick-ass "mutant culture" idea Grant Morrison has a couple years back.

Civil War, however? Never heard of it.

I'm a tad confused, We've known for awhile that spidey was gonna get a new suit, when he leapt forward in the future during Issue $500 we saw it, and then when he saved the "Super-Hero Tailor" we saw it again. but now....we're not getting that suit? I liked it!

Yeah, most of the A-list mutants still have their powers, notable exceptions being Magneto and several others. I've been hearing stuff about secondary mutations in some mutants being affected, too.

Civil War hasn't hit yet, but it's supposed to be another big shakeup. I'm a bit in the dark about it myself.

I know a little about it. Apparently the government passes the super hero regerstarion act, were all costumed heros must reveal their identites that will be entered into a government database. According to one interview I read from Quesada on Newsarama some of the heros are for it and some are against it. The two big hitter, Captain America and Iron both opposite sides in this. I could be wrong but I think Cap might be siding with those who are against it while Tony Stark is for it. apprently team will be split during this and some heroes might actually retire instead of complying.

......Jeez! Will someone give Tony some consistency?! First he's keeping his ID secret. Then he isn't. Then he's not again. Now he is again? Marvel, make up your mind! This, and that god-awful Warren Ellis arc (it doesn't really suck, but I've not had a monthly IM fix in YEARS and that lowers how good it is from A- to "I just don't give a **** about the character and story arc anymore", which is as bad as one can get) is just pushing me further and further away from Marvel...
