I just got back from watching "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," and wow, I’m still reeling! The animation style blew my mind, every frame felt like a living piece of art. I loved how they pushed the boundaries even further than the first film, layering in different techniques and styles.
The way each Spider-Person had their own unique animation style truly made the multiverse concept come alive. It’s almost like they took all those classic comic book aesthetics and breathed new life into them. It’s impressive that they managed to create a distinct look for each character while still keeping the overall film cohesive.
And the story? It was so well-crafted! The emotional depth really resonated with me, especially exploring Miles Morales’ growth and struggles. I think this will definitely stay in the conversation for best animated film of the year.
What did you all think? Did anyone else notice the nods to other Spider-Man media? Which animation styles or moments stood out to you? Let’s geek out over this!
