NBA 2014-2015 Season Discussion Thread

As for the Sixers, I think it might only be a matter of time before they finally get Win # 1.

Let's see if they can do that on Wednesday.

Wow that Mavs/Bulls game is definitely the most exciting game of the young season so far. It had everything and is a possible Finals preview. This year's Mavs team is partying like it's 2011 since they have Tyson Chandler and JJ Barea back. The Bulls supposedly strong defense has been slacking this year so they can be scored on now which the Mavs showed.

Demarcus Cousins has missed three straight games and guess what that resulted in? Yep, three straight losses. This team needs him back badly. They played a hard fought game against the Raptors but it wasn't enough. They couldn't get rebounds in the 2nd half and the Raptors were able to convert second chances into points. I have had enough of Jason Thompson as the starting PF. He just can't do anything and is foul prone.

Lastly, I thought the Lakers were tanking. Lol...They destroyed the Pistons until the Pistons bench were making a comeback. Kobe Bryant with another triple double except this time with turnovers.

Makes me wish Philly vs. Minnesota was a nationally broadcast game (Which it isn't, coz nobody could get excited about teams that don't have superstar players). While it's true that Philly is missing Joel Embiid and Tony Wroten, I think they should have enough to beat the TWolves, who are also missing key players like Ricky Rubio. Though talent-wise, I think the TWolves edge out the Sixers by way of Mo Williams.

Time to take out the champagne bottles! The Sixers have finally won their first game of the season! It was a horrible game as both teams couldn't buy a shot. But someone had to win and it was the Sixers. Wonder when will their 2nd win be.

Man Linsanity really sucks against the elite PGs. He went 0-10 shooting and was a non-factor. At least the Lakers kept the game close until the closing minutes. John Wall is just a beast at home. Only at home. On the road, it's a different story. The other main stories of the night was the Rockets killing the Grizzlies as I thought they couldn't do it and the Spurs losing a close one to the Nets. The Miami Heat are trending down as well.

Sixers should get their 2nd win when they encounter teams like the Utah Jazz or the Charlotte Bobcats.

Miami...LeBron brought them power for sure. Wade and Bosh look ordinary all of a sudden without him.

That wasnt a pretty win for the Kings. In fact, it was disappointing. They had a big lead on the Pacers but the Pacers kept cutting the lead slowly until they took the game to OT. From there, they even got the lead by one point until an airball from Rudy Gay luckily fell into Carl Landry's hands where he landed the game winning bucket. Don't like it but a win is a win.

It was a busy Friday night. Wizards looking legit and made the Nuggets look pathetic. The Celtics having their way against the Lakers. The Hornets snapping their losing streak against the lowly Knicks. The Cavaliers took down the best team in the East in Toronto. It was a vintage Lebron performance. The Spurs did the same thing to the best team in the West against the Grizzlies. Tim Duncan had a triple double. Lastly, the Miami Heat got whooped by the Bucks. Lol...

That was an unbelievable finish. A good and lucky bounce on a flat-looking shot by Blake Griffin...AT THE BUZZER!!!!

Brb, Chronoxiong. I'm still picking up my jaw from the floor.

The Kings have now won two games without DMC and I know, it was against the lowly Jazz. Nothing to be proud about. But was encouraging to see and the fans have really appreciated Rudy Gay as a King. He gets constant "Rudy" chants from time to time. The Cavaliers are on a rampage winning 7 straight games now. They had easy time against the Nets with Obama watching. The Hawks have won 7 straight as well and they are looking solid. The Warriors be like, screw 7 games, they are on a 13-game winning streak. This team is too good. Lastly, Blake Griffin with that lucky 3 point buzzer beater. Lol...It was obviously short but got the lucky bounce in to win. Not bad.

I'm positive that the Cavs, Bulls and Clippers will enter the playoffs next year while Sixers, Lakers and Pistons are the unfortunate ones.

There's currently a lot of winning or losing streaks going on right now in the league. The Warriors won their 14th straight game after beating the Rockets. The Clippers are on their 9th straight win against the Pacers with CJ Miles popping out of nowhere with a huge game. Atlanta won their 8th straight after whooping on the lowly Sixers. This Hawks team confuses me sometimes. A lot of games they show up and other times, just disappear. And lastly, the Knicks lost their 10th straight game after losing to the "B" squad of the Spurs. Wait, the Knicks kinda rolled out their "B" squad too. What a horrible game. Lastly, that buzzer beater from Beal was sexy. I'm saying this even though I still hated Courtney Lee's buzzer beater on the Kings a month ago. Darn.
