Poor officiating is probably the most irritating thing in sports. I understand people pay to see the stars but come on, blown calls and obvious preferential treatment just taints a team's effort, win or lose.
I thought the Thunder had what it took to win this series but no one on their team came through when they had to. The Heat had Shane Battier making 3's, Chalmers arrived in Game 4 and now, Mike frickin Miller decided to be on fire! If there's any blame for the Thunder in this series, it was their bench. Harden was a non-factor and Derek Fisher's championship experience didn't help. This team overall, is still young so I hope they get to the Finals again. Durant is good enough to win a Title. Sad seeing him hug his Mom in the back after the game. Lebron's play this year showed that he deserved to win so he should be happy. Lastly, congrats to Juwan Howard on finally winning the big one! He's now the only member out of Michigan's Fab Five to win a Title. Poor Chris Webber and Jalen Rose.
Chrono is right, I'm bummed OKC lost, but Miami deserved it. Durant is the only one that showed up. Westbrook shows up, but fucks up just as much, and Ibaka does well, but there is only so much he can do.
Congrats to Harden though, he just solidified to me that he's a hot and cold type of player.
We can all take the "hater glasses" off of Lebron now..........he basically took all the criticism that we've given the past 7-9 years of his career AND DID THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE. Good for you Lebron, congrats.
With that being said, as a New York Knicks fan...........there is only one thing I can say now in big New Yorker style fashion
2012 NBA Draft is now over and there were a lot of great picks. This year's Draft class really was deep. No wonder why there weren't many trades compared to other years. Or maybe it's because of the new CBA.
Hornets: #1 Anthony Davis
Bobcats: #2 Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Wizards: #3 Bradley Beal
Cavaliers: #4 Dion Waiters
Kings: #5 Thomas Robinson
Blazers: #6 Damian Lillard
Warriors: #7 Harrison Barnes
Raptors: #8 Terrence Ross
Pistons: #9 Andre Drummond
Hornets: #10 Austin Rivers
I'm loving the Kings pick! Him and Demarcus Cousins is going to make an awesome frontcourt. We still need a legit SF and if Tyreke can ease into that role then this team is set.
