Head injuries are a tricky thing, I had a head injury when I was 13, my Kart hit a tire barrier and I hit my head, I walked away under my own power, and felt fine. A couple days later I starter feeling sick, I was puking, dizzy, figured it was the flu, after a few days the symptoms got worse, I had a hard time waking up, my parents took me to the hospital, I had post concussion symptoms, even though I didn't initially show any signs of a concussion.

This is hours, from okay to brain death. I can see swelling and hemmoraging, but brain death is a bit extreme for that time frame. I'm not saying it can't happen, but it definitely raises some alarms on my bullshit meter

Just saw on E! news - she has passed away.

Earlier they reported that they had indeed taken her off life support, all of her family had been flown in and a family friend said she was listed as "Brain Dead" with no hope of recovery.

But again, they just reported she passed away moments ago.
