Mystic vs Tech based sentai?

Supernatural/mystical sentai always have living mecha. I don't know if Magiranger really counts since the Rangers actually become their mecha, but then again Kakuranger kind of did the same thing.

I'm wondering - Maskman is generally considered a mystical sentai (at least Sentai Magazine by Antarctic Press did) because of the emphasis on Aura Power. Yet the Great Five and Galaxy Robo mecha aren't exactly living. Can we also say that the mecha are powered by mystical energies rather than just ordinary nuclear or electricity and all? Magiranger definitely counts though.

I personally prefer scifi sentai such as Timeranger. However, that doesn't mean I don't like mystical sentai. I love it when they can hybridize, like Maskman and Hurricanger.

I prefer Tech to Mystic based because of the fact that Tech-based is more cooler when it comes to mecha design and its more "real" ...

I didn't choose for two of them.

Cause I think there's no relevance between two of them with the storyline. It's all root down to the japanesee way of thinking to the religion I think.

And how do you actually catogorizes some Sentai :
Hikari Sentai Maskman
Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGo V

So for me none of the two was best. It's the same.

I've often noticed that many times people who came in with season 1 Power Rangers tend to prefer mystic while sentai fans who came in with 80's series prefer tech.

Tech for me. I like many mystical shows too, but my tech is just my preference.

i go with Mystic as my favorite. they were always more interesting to have in a show. tech based is more realistic but i feel like i have Transformers to take of that. haha...
