Mystic Force - Dark Wish (A Jetix Blockbuster Event!)

Well it's not just hype, it's the way that it's being presented, Nickraman. It's getting a very special announcement and it's accounced as not only a Blockbuster Event but as PART of the Blockbuster Summer Movie even promo/commercial. It is something peculiar. We will probably be dissapointed. It might not be a movie but Im going to be hopeful until we figure out wtf we got on our hands.

I mean it could just be a very special episode (like the 600th episode or something) or maybe the Team Up in a movie-esque form?? Or a DVD Special episode that's airing early.

But there's that possibility that it could be a TV-MF movie. It would easily explain why 6 episodes were cut from the budget this year. The money from those 6 eps would totally pay for a nice PR hour or so movie

And you have to remember that during SPD, Bruce, Greg, and company really pushed Disney for a SPD Movie. They really wanted one. And I remember some of us at the RB community did start a Movie-Letter compaign. Because Bruce did tell us "if we want it, write in" and we did. Maybe for Mystic Force Disney caved in and decided to do a movie for MF?

If we assume that Bruce was still pushing for a PR movie (since fans WERE pushing for one during SPD and very vocal about wanting one during SPD) then it's not that far off to assume we might be getting one this year.

Since in the caption of the commercial, Nick's staff design/color is part of the scroll thingy that has ''Dark Wish'' on it. I believe this movie will be based off of mainly Nick. Why would they use just his red design for it? Hmm...



Or, it could be the SPD/ MF team up.

I like what you think. But don't get your hopes up. Kalish may have pushed for a movie, but this is DISNEY. They only give crap to their own franchise and don't give a damn about PR, i.e boxed sets.

I just came from the press site and today, they posted a press release about the "Blockbuster Summer".

Oban Star-Racers? It's in there.

WITCH Season 2? Check.

Sixth-ranger marathon? 10-4.

"Dark Wish"? Alas, nothing.

Probably further indicating that whatever "Dark Wish" is, it ain't happening in June.

Outlook on a June airing not so good anymore which strengthens some of our points. If it's just a new episode, why would it get special treatment over all 5 others? (Unless it were a team up or something)

But it's not june yet. Well the Jetix Blockbuster site is finally up:
