Daguba had something similar to the stone in Kuuga's belt, and it didn't spontaneously destroy itself. Why should Kuuga's? It was due to the battle.
Besides, Decade's and Kuuga's battle against ShadowMoon didn't even last enough for them to get any hits on him. We know Tsukikage was more skilled than Tsukasa and Yuusuke, but that says nothing for his power. Look at the battle again. He used his sword to out range Kuuga's punch and used energy attacks on him while thrusting his sword into Decade. He wasn't even hit by neither of them nor directly overpowered them at any time. Tsukasa and Yuusuke just weren't good enough to actually get past his sword moves.
Shadow Moon randomly hit him out of it during one of his returns.
Rising Ultimate Kuuga is automatically associated with Decade, not the original Kuuga series. I'd have liked to see more things like that for the others AR Riders too, although, obviously, if they were going to do it, they'd need more screen time.
Just for fun, if Agito were to get another upgrade, it would have to be God. Shining progresses to God, get it?
Rising Ultimate Kuuga was in a hard battle against someone who was BETTER than him, so why didn't that break his belt and/or kill him? And yes, yes it was the transformation. The sheer power being generated, the belt just could not take it anymore.
Which is more of a disgrace, considering where the belt most likely came from, but that's a theory I can't prove, so we'll leave that alone.
No thanks. First off, the FFRs are a completely different deal--they're meant to emphasize Decade's superiority over all other Riders. Rising Ultimate has no in-story reason and could have been accomplished by the up-to-that-point unseen Ultimate Form. Look, I'm all for new transformations, giant robots and power-ups. I'm not the guy trying to take the mecha out of Super Sentai. (THAT'S logical.) But to do so while at the same time screwing up another series' own mythology is just ridiculous.
LOL. Artistic license. This the same way the movie gets away with Decade beating Biorider's liquid form (supposedly impossible to damage--someone who's seen RX can let me know if someone ever conquered that), but couldn't beat Shadow Moon?
Also, someone said something about giving new forms to all the Riders. ...Really? I mean, really? We didn't see them use the power-ups they had.
As much as I dislike Rising Ultimate, I think I would've been even angrier had they humiliated Ultimate by making it similarly weak and useless in All Riders. Ultimate still has some cachet as something apocalyptic in the Decadeverse-- though who knows if Movie Taisen 2010 ruins that?

It's good to know that Movie Taisen 2010 at least pays lip service to the ideas that Ultimate represents.
... but the fact that it does so makes Rising Ultimate more baffling. So it's diagetically weaker than Ultimate, when all the other Rising forms are improvements...?
I do agree that Kuuga is far weaker in Decade than he should be. A bunch of his abilities are just never acknowledged in the show. I like to chalk this up to Onodera being much crappier at being Kuuga than Godai, but honestly I figure Decade's writers just didn't care about how Kuuga was portrayed all that much.
I think the whole show would've worked better if Onodera hadn't been a member of the core cast, but instead traveled about the worlds by himself somehow (it's not like Diend didn't!). You'd see him maybe every 2nd or 3rd arc, pursuing some mission of his own that brings him into conflict with Decade at the series' end after a few uneasy team-ups.
The more I think about how Kuuga is introduced into Decade and what sort of character Tsukasa/Decade is, the less sense it makes that they tried to portray Onodera as Tsukasa's steadfast friend. These guys should've been portrayed as irreconciliable opposites, I think-- to underscore the horrible inevitability of Ultimate Kuuga vs. Fury Decade.
