My Friend the Ghost Hunter

Wow thats pretty cool, me and my friend are into the paranormal :anime: Personally I think ghosts stalk me <__< I mean I hear screams at night sometimes only from my room, at my old house I would always see random people in the corner of my eye staring at me, my closet at my old house was demonic at night, and a few other small things like my Kamen Rider vinyls always being knocked down while the PR Figures next to them stand strong. A few of my friends have had crazy experiences though :O_O: my friend Vice says she can see dead things and they attack her...but I'm pretty sure she is just over exaggerating, but my other friend Pocky, she grew up in a house where she would always get random bruises, scratches, and cold spots :O_O:

Also this one time, my brothers friend Neil (whom I recently discovered he has spammed HJU a couple times in the past) tried to do that white noise thing, and he got some people having a conversation about hamburgers and a cat meowing creepy like. It turns out his tape recorder picked up the signal of a nearby Carls Jr. and his cat walked into the room while it was recording

Some times I happen to see things moving or standing there in the corner of my eye... but when I turn to look there is nothing there. It's a little creepy and odd. *shrugs*

Well, Cap'n Rawkenspiel is the friend I was talking about. He's going to go through his findings and once he's got 'em, we'll see about getting them posted to this thread.

Sidewinder and I took about 3 hours of audio combined and a TON of pics and Mouse's uncle took about an hour or so of video footage. We didn't get the door banging on video because by the time we came to our senses and realized what was going on, it was too late though I did get it on my analog audio recorder.

I'll probably go through my pics tonight and check 'em out in photoshop. Mouse went through the pics on the camera's viewscreen and picked up some orbs, but those aren't really "paranormal"- usually dust or bugs or balls of energy at the most.

So far, I guess things have been quiet at the house since we were there Saturday night...

That's not too unusual. Mouse's dad who's the most down-to-earth in the immediate family living there (but unusually open about this at the interview before the investigation) mentioned he would see shadows move in his periphrial (sp?) vision quite a bit.

In a few of the paranormal podcasts that I listened to, the "corner-of-the-eye shadows" is pretty normal in situations like this (as opposed to the full-on apparitions the family and other people in general have seen straight on).

I'd like to see the balls of light picture, whether they look outright paranormal or not.

And what paranormal podcasts do you listen to?

Sidewinder just saw the two balls of light through the night cam viewer as they flew up- He couldn't take a shot of them, though I think we have the whole thing on audio (the value of that being up to the listener). It was weird, though, because at the time my EMF meter was jumping all over the place. I thought there was something faulty with it because I've never seen it do that before, but then the meter stopped just as he swore and said what he saw through the camera.

Paranormal podcasts I check out:
The Paracast
Darkness on the Edge of Town Radio (the iTunes link doesn't work for me so I download 'em from their website)
Mysterious Universe
Beyond Reality Radio Show (hosted by Jason and Grant from Ghost Hunters)
Spooky Southcoast
Hometown Tales (check out Episode 183 to learn about the Crystal Skulls that will have some part in Indy IV)

That's pretty cool (in a creepy uncool way). Ghosts are pretty r@wk, despite the fact that my overworked logic gland doesn't allow me to believe in them. I have a friend who knows a high school science teacher that claims to be able to communicate with (or at least hear) ghosts, and she swears up and down that he allowed her to make peace with her recently deceased father. I don't have the heart to tell her that I think it's a bunch of bullshit and the guy's a gloon; whatever makes her feel better. The existance of restless spirits is extremely interesting indeed, and there's some good stories out there.
