So I missed this series... Particularly because I focused more on Kabuto. So I started watching it. Please try not to give major spoilers, but I just want to know what are its pros and cons... Is it worth giving it a try?
Pros:Good characters (4 out of 6 are likeable, anyway), vehicle mecha that actually have offensive capabilities, an interesting motif, good intentions.
Cons: No overarching plot. (Which really doesn't work for a type of show like this.), terrible anniversary team-up, a waste of said interesting motif.
Pros: Each episode feels like it's own adventure. You can enjoy just some unique situation they get in each episode that's not tied down by a thick, overarching plot. It's kind of like, have you ever seen Firefly? You know how each episode can be enjoyed on it's own and has it's own plot? That's what Boukenger reminded me of.
Not worth just listening to others opinions (I'd agree with Black Fang though). Just go to Veoh.com or here and watch it already. You'll figure it out if you'll like it or not eventually.
pros: nice character development especially Boukengers like Akashi, mecha battles, and new member Eiji as BoukenSilver. adding Boukenger vs Super Sentai.
cons: no storyline plot, minor villain characters and Gaza.
I like the personality of Red here, and yes I find Yellow a little boring and annoying at the same time. :redface2:
I feel it kinda unique because of there are three (or are there more?) bosses, each with unique origins and characteristics. Also, It's my first time seeing a sentai show where there are no "Monsters of the Week" (With the exception of episode 3), but instead they fight bosses/commanders and summon a giant monster for DaiBouken to fight with.
Also, I'm quite amazed on the mecha design. Kinda reminded me of classic Gattai Formations and Rescue Fire...
