My fear for PR2011.

Some people will never be satisfied. We've only gotten casting sides (which, you know, won't be the same as the final product), character descriptions that are bound to change, and that's all. We don't have a solid description of the plot or anything. Take a chill pill, people!

I take it this is the thread from RB that suddenly made your fears come out: http://www.rangerboard.com/showthread.php?t=137791

I thought you meant like storylines or something.

I just meant it's no reason to panic, the casting side scripts could've been developed once they knew what series they were doing, in order to buy time for them to pen a script and story, which will undoubtedly be similar to Shinkenger's so the scripts would give them an idea.

Well said.

Everyone needs to calm down.

I have a high hope with Saban. :buttrock:

That's the problem. I'm happy that Saban comes back.

Am I that complain? Nah. :) I got my wish back! I've been waiting for a long time and finally.... ^____^

They know what will they going to do with Power Rangers, just like the old times. :)

Exactly, ever since I found out Disney owned PR (Which I found out 7 years ago) I was hoping for the day they don't and who else better to own it again then Saban? If anyone knows how to save PR it's Saban and his crew, I don't think the 2011 series will be a direct carbon copy, until I see some promos and an insight on the storyline then am I able to think about what I can expect.

Doesn't it seem like PR2011 is being rushed into production?

No.

I mean, We got the casting sides a WEEK after Saban bought the franchise.

Casting sides were released a few weeks after Saban announced he had reacquired the franchise. He probably bought PR back months ago and just waited until all the deals had been finalized and Saban Brands was fully established.

And they were direct rips of Shinkenger. Plus, Jonathan Tzachor is Executive Producer. I'm afraid that the new season will be 40 episodes of thrown together Sentai rips. Ugh.

The casting sides being translated scenes from Shinkenger does not mean we're getting another direct Sentai rip off. Tzachor being EP does worry me a bit, but bassed on everything we've heard so far the new season is gonna be more like MMPRS1 or Turbo2, and less Time Force or Wild Force.

Saban comes back and people STILL complain. Seriously, what do you people want?

Like I said before about something, welcome to his fandom. People get great news they bitch. People get outstanding news they bitch. This "rushing" thing is really rather wtf to me. It doesn't come out until February by what I have read and heard. How can they be rushing. 7 months away worth of production is rushing?:redface2:

Ummmm, you guys realize HR isn't really complaining right? He seems worried...as in looking after PR's back....as in he doesn't want it to fail! Instead of being "Oh **** Saban's Back they'll automatically be awesome, just like 9/10 years ago!"

I think like me most people are just happy it's out of Disney's hands now and now in better hands and it makes it even better that it's in Saban's hands. I don't think they'll be awesome 9/10 years ago but somewhere around the line of producing that same quality. So far I'm glad it's 40 episodes again instead of 32, and that Nick will promote the **** out of PR, DVD/Blu-Ray releases of seasons too, it's great.

The point is, he really has no reason to be fearing anything. It's already been said a thousand times that a direct translation of Shinkenger may be a smart move to get the franchise going again. Not only that, we know nothing about the new season. He's going by casting sides that, I again repeat, can and most likely will chance. Until we see some confirmed info written in stone, and promos start showing...we all need to sit back and relax. Not because Saban is back, but because of situations like these...fear over nothing.
