except Faiz came before Kabuto and Accel, so if anything, they're taking after him. though each have their own various reasons and details. Faiz's was a mid-level pwoer-up that was more like a mode change if anything. Kabuto's Clock-Up was a standard for that series' riders so that they could be on even ground with the Worms. finally, Accel Trial is similar to Faiz Accel in that both give a speed advantage over opponents, yet while Faiz Accel form was limited for the entirety of his transformation, Accel Trial will not have a time limit until he executes his Maximum Drive, giving him much more time to wear down his foes before finishing them off
But Kabuto starts off in Masked Form which is the equivalent of a worm who hasn't moulted yet. So when Kabuto does cast-off to Rider form in order to have the ability to clock-up, certain worms can also moult and have the same ability, so it's somehow fair game, considering there are many worms vs only a few Riders.
