About the fate of Judau, i believe he appears a a junk dealer in one of the Crossbone Gundam mangas or maybe it was the the Victory Gundam Side Story. All i recall was he used an alias, but the giveaway was when his apparent-junk made mobile suit's face opened to reveal the ZZ Gundam's head
In animation and related games, Amuro and Char are listed as MIA. In the novelizations, they are listed as KIA. Yoshiyuki Tomino, writer and director of CCA, seems to consider them dead.
Amuro returns as an AI "bio-brain clone" installed in the mobile suit, Amakusa, during the events of Crossbone Gundam: Skull Heart, set during UC 136.
Char returns as a "memory clone", Afranshia Char, in the novel Gaia Gear which is set in UC 203. Originally part of non-animated UC timeline, Gaia Gear now takes place in an alternate history.
One scene I really loved was the end when Amuro went to fight push Axis away from earth and then the other Mobile Suits came to help. Reminded me of the PRiS episode where Astronema sends the asteroid so the Rangers try to use the Megazords.
Watched the first 2 Unicorn episodes... and I fucking LOVED THEM!.
A part of me was thinking Audrey was Mineva Zabi and when it was revealed to be true I was like **** yes!.
I like how they go into detail about the Psychoframe system which answers many things from Char's Counterattack for me.
Is the Nahel Argama the Near Argama from ZZ as well?. I wasn't sure if it was a sub error or something from my ZZ set.
Another question, how can a Earthling become a New Type if they were born on earth and not on a colony in space?.
I'm just not sure if this Full Frontal (LMAO) guy is actually Char or some imposter.
But yeah, Unicorn is kicking ALL ass right now. I fucking love it.
The same way they're born in space. You don't have to be a spacenoid to become a Newtype, though most are. Hell, Amuro was born on earth and he's a Newtype.
Unicorn's probably the best Gundam series I've seen since...I dunno, X? I've got a lot more to say about it, particularly on the themes of the series, but they'll have to wait until you've seen the other two episodes.
The Vist Foundation was created by the Vist family to pretty much serve as the keepers of Laplace's Box. Due to various investments, they're pretty well off financially. In particular, they're the majority shareholder in AE, mostly due to a member of the Vist family marrying into the family that created AE.
Laplace's Box is incredibly important, not just to Unicorn but to the entire Universal Century as a whole. Explaining what exactly it is would be ridiculously huge spoilers. Needless to say, the nature of Laplace's Box is kinda central to the plot of Unicorn.
More or less. The Laplace Station was where the official AD to UC calendar change ceremony took place. It didn't explode so much as terrorists reprogrammed some of the colony's optical discs to focus sunlight on the residential block, melting it and causing explosive decompression.
