It is the year A.D. 2307. Fossil fuels on Earth have been depleted entirely, with mankind turning to the next available power source: solar energy. During this time, 3 orbital elevators with solar power generation systems are built, each under control by the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations (formerly United States of America), the Human Reform League (Russia, China and India) and the Advanced European Union.
However, the smaller nations which have not gained access to the benefits of this energy source, as a result resentment and hostility has been building up within them. In time wars over this energy source began breaking out all over the world. Just when it felt like things would descend into a state of chaotic war, a new force appeared, answering to no single group they attacked all armies indiscriminantly with their high-powered mobile suits known as "Gundams". Their name: Celestial Being, their purpose: the eradication of war by any means necessary. Just as soon as they arrived they vanished, leaving those who saw the Gundams in a state of awe and shock leaving nothing but questions in the minds of the general public.
Even after seeing the damage done by the Gundams though, there are those still willing to start wars for their own purposes. Because of this, it's only a matter of time until the Gundams return once again in order to enforce their own kind of justice on the world once again..................

It acts upon the advisory of the artificial intelligence Veda, and its preferred mode of operation resembles guerrilla or maneuver warfare. As of the initiation of its publicly visible activities in 2307, Schenberg appeared in a taped worldwide broadcast announcing the organization's existence and intentions. They have teams of Gundams hidden within each of the three main governments.
The Union:
a supranational politico-economic community consisting of the Organization of American States, Australasia, and Japan. It controls the first-completed of the three orbital elevators, located in South America. The President of the United States is the Union's effective leader, and continues to work and live in the White House.
Human Reform League:
a supranational politico-economic community consisting of China, Siberian Russia, the nations of South Asia (with the exception of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan), Mongolia, the member states of the ASEAN, Papua New Guinea, the Korean Peninsula, and Taiwan. It controls the second-completed of the three orbital elevators. The chairperson who serves as the head of government resides in the capital, which is located somewhere in China.
Advanced European Union:
a supranational politico-economic community consisting of Iceland, the islands of the Barents Sea, Greenland, Anatolia, and the entirety of the traditional continent of Europe. Its institutional makeup is comparable to that of the real-world European Union. Despite the AEU's control of the presently incomplete orbital elevator tower in Africa, it possesses no member states on the continent. The community operates under the arbitration of a parliamentary body.
Beserker:
A private military contractor under the command of Kevin Driscoll with members hailing from all three of the super powers. They have a rather bad reputation for their use of excessive force and rather exhorbitant fees while at the same time being quite reliable in terms of getting the job done. With the advent of the Gundams several nations have begun to consider hiring them . not knowing how much collateral damage may occur.

A Union variable type MS. It is capable of transforming between mobile suit and flight modes in mid-air without assistance, although this is a difficult maneuver that requires a highly skilled pilot. The Flag's primary armament is a linear rifle that fires electromagnetically-accelerated live rounds, while its melee armament comprises a sonic blade which can also function as a plasma sword.
VMS-15 Union Realdo

A previous-generation variable mobile suit manufactured by the Union, still a mainstay of the Union Military as of 2307 despite gradual retirement in favor of its successor, the Flag.[3] It is also the basis of the AEU Hellion and Enact. The Realdo supports a smaller variety of standard-issue armaments than the later models of its line, and is incapable of in-flight transformation. The unit's flight mode functionality is comparable to that of a fighter aircraft, and its simple backwards-collapse variation is manually accomplished with the aid of a groundcrew. This feature is semi-automated in all derivative designs currently known.

Manufactured in large numbers and exported outside of the AEU member nations. For that reason, there are cases in which they've been used by terrorists and others, making it the second most common mobile suit in the world. Though it has features, such as flight form support, in common with the latest unit, the Enact, there's a huge gap in their abilities, destining it for retirement. There are many variations on the head portion and armaments.

The latest MS developed by the AEU. A solar energy model, this MS can accept a direct supply of power from the orbital elevator's generation system. The basic design is noted by Union scientist Billy Katagiri to be heavily based on the Union's Flag and shares many features such as the flight form transformation and armaments.

At nearly twice the mass of the Gundam Virtue, the mainstay mobile suit of the Human Reform League is comparable in design to a bipedal tank, markedly less advanced and less manueverable than the mass-production types of the other major powers. Though the unit's heavy armor and firepower are relics from an older generation of combat vehicles, the preservation of these throwback features translates to practical dependability in general-purpose warfare, the reasoning behind its continued deployment. A number of purpose-specific variations and custom types exist. The Tieren's screenless, cramped cockpit is situated in its upper torso. The piloting display is head-mounted. A range of optional weapons may be docked to the unit's forearms and hips.

They appear to be more heavily armed and armored then the traditional Hellion. Due to this, and their shorter wings, they are likely to be incapable of transforming. Due to the fact that the pilots of these machines tend to take performance enhancing drugs which also greatly increase aggression these machines are gradually becoming widely feared.

History: At one point a citizen of the Union, as well as an aspiring medical student with a somewhat natural talent for surgical operations, but as countries began launching attacks on the Union many people ended up being drafted into the army for the purpose of repelling these aggressors. Unfortuneatly, he was one of those unlucky people. For a time he served as the pilot of an VMS-15 Union Realdo mobile suit, but fate intervened during a rather bloody battle with a group using stolen mobile suits the same as their own. Like several others, he found himself at the mercy of the Gundams predecessor, the GNY-000 O Gundam, and found himself entranced by it's magificence and the glowing GN particles that it emitted from it's body. Like the other mobile suits around him, he soon found himself at the end of the Gundam's gun barrel, but rather than let himself die, he stepped out of his cockpit and surrendered. He allowed himself to be taken prisoner by Celestial Being where while being held captive he learned of Celestial Being's purpose of eradicating war and soon enough he decided that he too wished to follow that path. With that he declared his loyalty to Celestial Being and offered to help them in any way possible.
One year later after a good deal of training and working along side Celestial Being, he was selected by the A.I. Veda to be one of Celestial Being's Gundam Meisters, and the Gundam assigned to him was the mighty Gundam Exia. With his precise striking abilities which he had gained from his surgical training, he has been able to make excellent use of the Exia's numerous bladed weaponry of varying types and treats each blade as a different surgical tool which he uses to slice up enemy mobile suits.
Personality wise he is a fairly good guy who can work with others fairly easily during missions that involve working with his fellow Gundam Meisters. Like many who have been in battle he has many deep mental and emotional scars from his time in combat, but for the sake of completing the mission he buries deep withing his mind.
